That's disturbing to hear if you're Frank Gore. |

It's funny because the that defense blew. Gave up 360 yards per game and gave up 36 points to the ****ing 49ers. Greg Williams is a terrible defensive coach and an even worse person. Youtube top comment : ""We never apologize..." “I’d like to again apologize wholeheartedly to the NFL, Coach Fisher, the entire Rams organization and all football fans for my actions,”" "When your telling your players to damage a mans ACL and run the risk of him never being able to play again thus leading to him Not being able to provide for his family you need to be blackballed from the sport" |

you're silly. No decent coach would go to those extremes. People that would go to those lengths obviously know that they are already at a severe disadvantage if they try to play the right way. It has already been proven that Williams is not a good coach. You wouldn't see an actual decent defensive coordinator give his players this kind of advice. There is a difference between telling players to go at someone and be physical to set the tone and telling them to do things specifically designed to seriously injure another player. i.e. targeting Davis's ankles, Crabtree's knees, William's head. All of those injuries can end a person's career and possibly have serious effects/limitations on that person's life after football. (Go read on how many players have died because of concussion-related diseases in Williams's case) Hell him telling his players to hit Smith's head while getting off a pile has absolutely no justification at all. Are you serious? I hope he never coaches again. One, because there is no place for that kind of crap (instructing players to go out of their way to critically injure other players) and 2) because he's an awful defensive coordinator and I'd hope no one has to pay him to coach their defense. |
