yea and lakers got shit on; spurs r good but who can strap durant? if artest cant strap him who can? and heat will b going to the finals, they ll have a bit of trouble wen they come across rondo, but yeah they can beat every team. i would like pacers to beat them since they are underdogs but chances r low im callin it heat vs okc |

That's just ignorant. No one on the Spurs can even touch Wade/Lebron and then you toss Lebron on Parker/Manu. Bosh will be back by then and he'll move Duncan out of the paint. Where's the Dirk/Barea that's going to cause Miami a huge mismatch? Where's the Chandler that is going to block shots and defend the paint? Lakers and the Thunder are the only two teams that can beat the Heat out of the West ironically. If Bynum stops being teenage Bynum and starts trying to dominate instead of just "being there", Lakers will win that series. You're bound to get at least 1 game where Westbrook is horribly off and shoots them out of the game and you know Kobe will perform when you need him. Basing the series of 1 game where the Lakers were 24-30 hours removed from finishing a 7 game series and the Thunder had almost a week to rest/prepare is really dumb. |

YES SIR NO THANKS TO GRANGER .... MY GUY PG OWNED LBJ AND WADE TONIGHT. I have always liked Wade, but that foul on Collison was uncalled for. Regardless of whether they get through this series or not, they wont win squat when their best (or 2nd best) player gets rattled that easily. Edited by Paul George, May 15 2012, 09:00 PM.

Altho I still think the heat will win it this year, I would have a good laugh if Lebron went 0-3 in the finals being swept by the spurs again. |

its not like anyone could blame him for getting swept his second best player on that team was boobie gibson. that team was awful and he should be commended for dragging their sorry asses all the way to the finals. |

similar to my prediction; we only differ on the series scores, i think boston can wrap it up in 6 and the spurs can win in 5; meanwhile the pacers and lakers games can be closer. |

How about people post some reasons for why they think a series will go a certain way? I want to see why people think SA will win/against OKC and MIA vs Ind/Bos or Ind vs Bos. For example, people are mindlessly choosing Miami when 1) they have struggled in crunch time 2) Bosh is out indefinitely so they have virtually no front line to counter West/Hibbert which as a result is causing James to get worn down 3) their first two games against IND should have both been losses but the Pacers handed them G1 and tried to give them G2. What indication have they given that they will win 3 out of 5? You can say they played poorly, but you cant then turn around and say the Pacers have been playing well. Hibbert and Granger have been nonexistent for the most part and they are our two most important players. There's no reason the Pacers cant win G3 and G4 at home and then either G5 at Miami or G6 back at home if guys play like they are capable of. I expected them to win this series even with Bosh healthy and I expect them to win with Bosh injured. That being said, can't wait for Game 3. About OKC and SA, apparently no one saw when San Antonio came into OKC and just dominated the Thunder. San Antonio was either tied or had the second best home record in the league and they have won 15 in a row. OKC has no real answer for Duncan or Parker. You can claim that Harden and Manu cancel each other out, but San Antonio is a lot deeper than OKC. We're talking Gary Neal, Stephen Jackson, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard vs Thabo Sefolosha, DaQuean Cook, and co. That makes up for not having a guy like Durant. People simply handing the series to OKC need to do some research first. They can win, but it's not even close to a cakewalk like many people seem to think. |
