damn, sure wasn't expecting memphis to be down 3-0. the spurs have played great and shut them down in the paint...remember when the grizzlies upset them they had OJ mayo's outside shooting to balance out randolph and gasol. that scoring is sorely missed and will definitely be the grizzlies' #1 priority this offseason. they should model themselves off of san antonio tbh.

oj mayo shot over 40% once in the series, and that was when he only took 4 shots.

he shot 47% from three though, but only took 17 shots from that range. OJ had a really poor shooting performance overall. some of his shot charts are horrid. he's certainly not the player you want taking team high FGA from threes unless hes scorching hot (see beginning of 12/13 season)

blade you can post screenshots of you beating people like louie in 1v1s as much as you want (seriosly with your sound, set up, and stopwatch you shouldnt lose a 1v1) but it doesnt change the fact that he is 20x the player you are.

he definitely isn't, but his presence for 30+ minutes a game allowed randolph and gasol to operate better in the post by being a constant outside threat and drawing defenses away better than jerryd bayless and quincy pondexter ever could.

I'm just here to troll.
my pacers will never make it past the lebron-wade era so I will start to be used to the fact that I shouldnt be surprised my team is out by May
its ok bro we all been there
Can you wait until we lose the series? We were 2.2 seconds away from being up 2-0. We've given Miami all they can handle and we still haven't played our best basketball.

This team is capable of competing for championships, this year and in the future. You can keep hanging onto the past but I prefer the present. The growth of this team just over this season has been amazing. I don't care if they lose this series because they will be right back next year with another year of experience and growth for Lance, Hill, Roy, and PG. Even when Vogel first became head coach I still loved watching this team. Watching guys like Roy and PG, who no one had anything nice to say about when they came in except for one scout who said PG would be the best player in his class (better than Wall, DMC, Monroe, Turner, etc. Genius), take their game to an All-Star level after going through periods where it looked like they would be nothing more than an average player or a bloated contract. Both were left for dead at times this year and both have rebounded to put this team in a best of 5 with HCA to get to the NBA Finals and taking it to the best team in the league. All of it being done without their captain and leader and his 18ppg, clutch shooting, good defense, and solid rebounding. This has been my favorite year of watching this team for those very reasons and it doesn't matter if they don't pull this series out. That wont change.

Replace the Pacers with any team in the league, and the expectation would be the same: Heat in 5 or 6. They absolutely drilled an OKC team last season that was much better than this year's Spurs, Thunder and Memphis.

But you can take this to the bank, if the Pacers and Spurs are fortunate enough to win each of their series and meet in the Finals: Pacers in 5.

Good night troll.

No I am not a maverick's fan, I really don't like that tbh in fact I was rooting for the heat when they won the finals a couple of years ago.

Hopefully Pacers win & try to tire up the heat maybe get lucky with an injury or something

I don't understand how you switch from rooting for the heat to rooting for the spurs when you have a dallas cowboys helmet as your logo

very conflicting

Have to love the talking heads on ESPN and the like. Miami plays their best game of the postseason(Jaslem 8-9 17 pts, Chalmers 4-6 6-7 14 pts, Wade 8-14 18 pts, Bosh 4-6 2-3 15 pts) and Indiana plays their worst home game of the postseason (George 3-10 13 pts 5 turnovers, West 8-16, Hibbert 4-12, Lance 2-10) We shot ourselves in the foot when we were missing bunnies, missing free throws and turning the ball over when we cut the lead to 7 midway through the 3rd. They also make a production about LeBron dominating in the post as a big reason for them dominating. Surprise! LeBron has been getting into the lane consistently and dishing it to Birdman for easy layups the entire series. So now he moves to a different spot and gets roughly the same results scoringwise and its a series shifting move?

We got 39 percent from the field and 68 percent from the line and we still had a very good chance to get back in the game in the 3rd after Miami shot 60+ percent in the first half. That's by far the best that Miami has played against Indy all year in the 6 meetings and all of a sudden it's the norm and Miami has woken up. Never mind the fact that the Pacers have consistently had let downs coming off of big wins this year.

I'm not sure why we're even playing tonight. They should just start the finals now that the Spurs are done with the Grizz.

*sigh*

and slightly OT: I love the new flopping rules and the zero-tolerance penalties in the postseason. Miami has been flopping all over the place regardless of whether they get the call or not. I could have sworn that the rule applied when no foul was called so how have Wade/Chalmers not gotten fined for Game 2 when Hibbert was taking the ball inside off the PnR or this gem? VVVV

Never mind the blatant travel in that image either lmao.

like I said, I was only rooting for the heat during 2011 finals becuase I am not a Maveracks fan, sort of like a cross-state rivalry just like I hate the Texans.

OT: It's funny living in Houston and listening to Houston sports radio hosts talk about how this is the Texans' year in terms of winning the Super Bowl. They were barely the best team in their division last year and no better than the 3rd or 4th best team in the conference. I'm not even sure they win the division this year unless Indy regresses.

The Cowboys on the other hand. The season will start for 30 teams in the beginning of September. The offseason will restart in the beginning of September for the Cowboys and of course...the Jets.

Still no logical reason to be rooting for the Heat. I hate the Knicks but I would be rooting for them vs the Heat if they beat the Pacers, just like I would root for the Bulls when they played the Heat in year 1 after pasting the Pacers.

lol if anything this will be the Cowboys year, only 4 playoff teams in schedule and they have like the 5th easiest strengh schedule just you wait

of course its a logical reason to root for the heat when they are playing your cross-state rivals lol. why would I want my rivals to win?? why would you want your rivals to win?
