Lmao. Watch some Bargniani tape or simply comments from Raps fans. If you want specifics, just watch any Pacers-Raps footage of West feasting on Bargniani everytime down the floor for the final 6 minutes of regulation to open the season. The dude sucks and they have been trying to get rid of him for years. Now the Knicks have him? GREAT!!! And now the Knicks are linked to Monta Ellis which is just more lols. As long as the Knicks have Stoudemire's contract on their payroll, they are a 1st round exit. Bargniani will just be a reminder of how stupid it was to trade the farm for Melo (i.e. GALLO, the 10x better version of Bargs). And the Warriors will evolve back into the Lawlriors if they trade Barnes AND Thompson for Howard. Curry's ankle goes pop and its "Dwight wants out of Oakland Episode I". Thompson is a perfect player for the style they play in GS with his great spot up ability and Barnes can develop into a good defender with an outstanding offensive game off the bounce and the ability to spot up but also create his own shot. You can trade one, but not both. Only two guys that I trade both for: one of which is Durant, the other doesnt need to be named. Hornets offer 4/48 to Tyreke, another LOL move. Let's overpay a guy without a true position and who has only put up numbers in a bad team, who was also trying to trade him for the last two seasons. At least someone like Jennings has a position in this league. You're basically paying Lance Stephenson 12 mill. If Lance was given the freedom on offense to play like Tyreke, he would have put up equal or better numbers while actually resembling a point guard or two guard instead of looking like a 3 trying to run the offense. No surprise that Dwight wants Houston to try to acquire a 3rd star, but I don't see a top point guard that they could get for Lin/Asik/Parsons. I'd rather keep Parsons for the same reason that I like Thompson on GSW. Harden penetrating and Dwight drawing double teams means that you need someone to knock down open shots, that's Parsons. I'd spin the wheels on Lin/Asik for Rondo, but I'm not sure Boston bites unless you include Parsons after which Houston would hang up and try somewhere else. Nobody cares what Detroit or Charlotte does with Jeff/JSmoove. If Detroit has to overpay for JSmoove, they should hang up and wait for Wiggins/Parker/Randle. Any of those 3 would complete a solid young starting 5. Charlotte will probably give Jeff the max. I dont care who they get, I just want the old Hornets unis/colors/court back. |

I think the word you're looking for is: obvious But by all means, why should the rest of the NBA care what Detroit does this offseason? If you tank, congrats half the league is doing it. If you don't, you're stuck in between maybe 7-12th in the East for the next 5 years. Josh Smith is hot garbage who thinks he's a 3 even though he lacks the shooting or quickness. Jeff is like a poor man's Z-Bo from his days on the Knicks, just trudging around on bad teams putting up decent stats when everyone knows his real value, except off the court issues aren't holding Big Al from taking the next step. |

the only reason he stayed with the raptors for this long is because no other team was dumb enough to trade for him..great trade for the raptors though novak will do the same exact thing for a lot less money |

WHAT? Except for the Landry Fields part, dude is lols to watch. Also good move pawning off Bargs finally. Definitely a win for the Raps in that deal. Rudy Gay AND Derozan as a core though? And then you don't name Valanciunas? The only player with true star potential (Ross has good 2 guard all over him but not necessarily perennial all-star while Val could be just as good defensively as Hibbert with potential on offense if he continues to develop). You've got your center and 2 guard of the future in those two. The problem is Gay is untradeable (look at his contract and try not to cry if you're a Raps fan, 18 million next season and then up to 20 mill) and Derozan might as well be too (probably because you wouldn't get what you're looking for back, 9.5 mill seems explainable at best but he's going to be taking time from Ross). They both shoot HORRID percentages and offer you nothing outside of volume shooting. They can't spot up and they can't create. Just give them the ball and watch about 30-35 prayers per game. Their PERs make Paul George look like an offensive god (with the shit start and finish he had included). Not to mention that neither of them play defense so what do you do against Melo, LeBron, PG, or any other good guard or small forward? At least you named Lowry and Ross, or else I might not have even bothered. You build around Val, Lowry, and Ross and hope that a superstar falls into your lap in the draft imo. I'm not trying to flame people for getting excited about their team. Just offering some my insight so don't take it personally |

lol i would say the raptos may make the playoffs this year but the wizards or cavs are probably more likely. idk we'll see how the rest of free agency goes. celtics will probably make a dum signing and compete for the 7th or 8th seed.

the 2014 draft is going to be exciting to watch, assuming that all those guys declare. andrew wiggins going first overall and jabari parker going second will most likely be the scenario..followed by the entire kentucky roster lol there are a bunch of other hidden gems that didn't declare for the draft this year though, to name a few: marcus smart from oklahoma state, isaiah austin from baylor, and i really like pj hariston and james michael mcadoo from unc just a side rant: the draft class was so weak this year, i would have declared if i was any of the people listed above. i mean come on...there was no clear number one pick which put the cavs in a tough spot and forced them to take a gamble with anthony bennett. the guys in horrible shape and isn't an incredible athlete but because of the weak draft class he might have been the best option on the board idk. fo sho just another reason why next year's draft is said to be the best since 03' if you don't tank this season you're doing something wrong..unless lebron is on your team. Edited by Trapt, Jul 2 2013, 10:01 PM.
