the spurs have been one of the most boring teams in the league to watch for a while. I'll watch grizzlies any day over them..then again i am a tony allen fan.

blade you can post screenshots of you beating people like louie in 1v1s as much as you want (seriosly with your sound, set up, and stopwatch you shouldnt lose a 1v1) but it doesnt change the fact that he is 20x the player you are.

When did Harrison Barnes become a volume shooter?
when did shooting 10-18 qualify one as a volume shooter?
taking 18 a game is pretty standard for volume scoring...

Sad story but it seems like his intentions were to go on Reddit and defame his dad.

Sad because:

1) His dad has never really be IN his life like a father should be.

2) He has to question all friendships he has because of who his dad is.

Kevin Durant seemed completely out of funk in these last couple of games.

On an irrelevant note, rumors swirling that Phil Jackson may be asked to take over Joe Dumars as the Pistons GM.

R.I.P. Knicks

Survived foul shooting and 7-8 3-point field goals in the 3rd and beginning of 4th.

Gotta love Stephen A. Smith. I knew the guy literally knew nothing about the game of basketball ages ago, but damn.

I'll take the 3 days off for our starting 5's legs. Will be very much needed, especially for PG.

JR Smith needs to throw his Sixth Man of the Year award in the garbage.

Does Indiana's starters usually play this many minutes a game? Their bench hardly gets a chunk of time.

Yes. PG normally only sits out from the first dead ball in the 2nd quarter to like the 6 or 7 minute mark of the half. He then plays the rest of the game. Stephenson, Hill, and Augustin rotate with two of them in at all times. Mahinmi gets spots minutes in the 2nd quarter and early 4th. Hansbrough checks in early for West so he can come back in when PG and Hibbert sit.

Our bench has been horrible. The FO was relying on Granger coming back and being the 6th man when it came to offseason moves and trade deadline moves. The only guy that you can afford to have out there at this point for any extended length is...nobody. Augustin can't defend and if he's not hitting 3's, he's not helping you. Mahinmi can do some nice things but his hands are terrible. The guy would be a very good center if he could simply catch the ball and hold onto it. Hansbrough simply just gets in people's way and people have learned how to guard him. When Hibbert, PG, or Hill gets in foul trouble early, the team is in trouble. Fortunately, they are extremely disciplined on the defensive end, especially Hibbert. (This guy was left for dead after the first few months this year and he got robbed on the all-defensive teams)

Indy's probably gonna get rid of Granger this summer, right? And yeah, Hibbert has improved massively... kid's a g0d now

I think the memphis/spurs series is going 7 games unless memphis can pull a win out early in san anton.

I think the heat should take it in 5 on the otherhand

Probably won't. 1) He's worth more to us even pre-injury. The Pacers turned down tons of "good" offers for him before he got hurt. 2) No team is going to give the compensation that we would demand, especially when that compensation has to be enough for not only Granger, but for not extending someone like Stephenson or resigning West. The only guys that for sure will be on this team after next season are Hibbert, George, and Hill. Probably can't afford to keep Granger after reupping West for the 10 mill that he makes now and Stephenson for maybe 7-8, unless he drops to a number similar to Stephenson after next season.

As far as beating the Heat, it goes from the Knicks series where we only needed 1 of our 5 guys to play well to win, to all 5 of our guys needing to play well to win. Hibbert needs to dominate Bosh, West can't let Battier control him like last year, Hill needs to beat Chalmers, and PG and Lance just need to hold on to Wade and LeBron. (Look for LeBron to try to lock down Lance and stop him from cleaning the glass and opening the break, if that happens, PG needs to own Wade) The biggest "if" is Lance. I have no doubt that Hill, West, and Hibbert can win their battles and that PG can offset LeBron enough between his scoring and defense to give us a chance. He played well the first two MIA games but was invisible in the 3rd. If he plays well, we'll win the series for sure because PG has already proven that he can get his even when LeBron is locked in on him and because Lance is the key to the Pacers being at the top of their game.

Terrible half from both teams. We were just fortunate that we were able to exploit West when he was hot while LeBron stopped attacking and started looking to distribute more. This game could go either direction in the second half. We've gotten next to nothing from anyone not named Roy or David. Paul is really struggling (not surprised, this isnt the first time that he has vanished in the first half, he's usually strong in the 2nd though) and Lance had a really tough call at the end of the half coupled with the fact that he has no real confidence in his jump shot.

Going to be tough. Miami ran away from the Pacers last game in Miami after it was close at halftime. Have to limit live ball turnovers and limit the open looks for Chalmers, Battier, and Allen and somehow find a way to slow James on the PnR or somehow help Hibbert with Anderson/Haslem on the baseline when LeBron gets into the lane.

OT: Norris Cole impresses me everytime I watch him play. He's quick off the PnR, which kills the Pacers, and he is d'ing up on Hill and Augustin, pushing them out towards half-court and causing them to burn shot clock and prevent post entry passes when Bosh/Battier/etc. front the post..
