Xfire video lags me, and since I use it all the time that's probably one of the reasons I suck. Fraps is great but the videos are huge files. What do you guys use to record while still getting good FPS?

i use xfire video too. it works just fine. This kid muzzle probably hasn't fucked with his settings and probably doesn't record at half size.

Dxtory is the best out . I remember on my old computer when i had fraps i would record at 60-70fps 50% size then when i tried dxtory i was like 110fps on 75% size . So go dxtory for sure

Envy

I would personally suggest Dxtory.

Here are two codecs:

x.264

Lagarith Lossless Codec

use dxtory if u can get it set up the right way (hint: mssg souless) and your videos render with it. my videos didn't render the right way so I just use playclaw now which has the simplicity of fraps but file sizes that can compete vs dxtory

HERES WHY BANDICAM DA BEST

you pick your quality, and resolution of your video. so you will always get a good framerate even if ur on a shitty laptop u can probably record like 320x160 or something
