" Professionals may assemble a PC in 15-20 minutes, but if this is your first time, you can expect to spend about 2-4 hours. - See more at: http://www.logicalincrements.com/#sthash.YTUKcKtE.dpuf " who spends 2-4 hours putting 7 computer parts together? |

i spent 5-6 hours my first time, but i was building 2 pcs with a friend who also didnt kno jack shit. i guess if youre working alone, you get shit done faster. had to read the manual and triple check everything i did. you don't want a $200 part being useless cause a pin size of an ant breaks... |

i spent ~3.5 hours on my first build... when a cable this small![]() can fry an important part of your $180 motherboard just if its + and - are wrong, making you send it back and waiting another 2 weeks (assuming it's under warranty), then you pretty much triple, quad, pent, etc. check everything. my second build took about 25 minutes still triple checking everything. also, I plan on making a video on how to build a pc when I get my power supply back from rma. Just fyi, I used to sell buckets of macbooks and imacs/minis. I've trained people to give presentations to sell macs as well as show people how to use them in their own home. It's not like I'm just fanboyin...I know the products pretty well. It's not like I advocate Windows either I have my reasons for hating them too.. where mac benefits is they use the same intuitive features in their products and you interface with them. look at anything windows stole from them. it was obviously because they were good ideas. mindless stuff like being able to drag a picture from your desktop to having it upload instantly (im talking like 15 years ago) But what bothers me about apple... it is seriously a pain in the butt to try to do anything on those computers which involves modifying the operating system or settings. and i dont know what there really is to explain here. it feels like im on windows 8 and have to take 5 around the world steps just to get into the control panel. also gaming on mac = no. they sure push the video rendering and photo capabilities of macs but isnt that possible of any quadcore backed by a crap ton of ram? if you want a computer for your kid, then cool. but good luck playing decent games (lol dx11), benching hardware, and if you look at it in general macs were not designed to be these kinds of computers. they arent designed to be upgraded or customized. apples designers know that the typical mac user is not sophisticated enough and would get too confused if they had the ability to manipulate files or settings. they're made for the average dildo. i think they are a good product for the general population..... but personally i feel like any random task high end pc users could do ...... is way too retarded to fight with on a mac. |

my first time thru took about 3 hours. now i can put the parts together and in teh case in like 45-hour. it's not that hard. just be careful with the screws. the hardest part to learn is where the cables go, once u know that the shits a cake walk. Apple is great for video editing and Music production. Also great for the casual retard who doesn' t know how to work anything because the gui is so user friendly. I use a macbook pro at school and it's not bad. the way they are built is shit so once something happens to it your fucked. I'm happy with it for what i need to do with it. Power users need a windows system. Gamers need a custom computer. i play csgo on my mac and it's not bad fps wise i get like 70 but since its a 13" monitor its gay.
