The East Coast Planestisde 2 server is 200-300 players per faction at prime time. So a good team will get 500 kills, 100 deaths, and capture 4 bases, while an average, or bad team will get 100 kills, 500 deaths, and capture 4 bases. How is that possible? Because of skill, composed of genetics and learned behavior, and game design, which includes the fact of most experienced players leaving the game, leaving remaining the team leaders in an unhelpful political environment in their own faction's command, while confronted with two implacable enemy factions, albeit with their own internal politics. Hundreds or thousands from competitive halo pc have gone before you. the opportunity is for any HPC teams remaining to choose to contribute to something bigger and stronger, that can then be available to them for gaming or whatever on occasion in the future. Anyone can join a new game and get connected to a team automatically, more or less. but probably a lot of people don't play games. Of the millions that do, their organization will ultimately determine their quality of experience, like benja's KN1 outfit on planetside 2. This community came from halo pc, but will always be online. It is a shame those remaining are still so separated, disconnected and unfriendly. There is only one way to change it. Halo PC could be organized for a real ranking in that way. Thank you. you're right sam its better to have one organized community...but it doesent work like that for us....each person here that plays/played halo always had their own group/clique that they would socialize more in vent and on xfire etc. that was what kept the real competitiveness in halo for all those years

Not competitive enough? you're just making excuses for yourselves. first time i saw young vish here in a game server was probably 2008. i doubt he remembers exactly where, but i do. i knew there was a network of hpc people. It has always been your CHOICE to organize or not, to put the real community first or not, and so far, you've chosen not and that's ok. I'm really over it and this site. I'll still be here of course, and in mumble sometimes, but the opportunity for a much broader community from all of our networks may have passed. As you go on in your lives, you may see much more amazing things than hpt, but eventually see it for what it is, or was, or might have been.
