Honestly (trolling aside now), I prefer Boston to New York. I'm New York all the time but I hate all the tourists, the traffic, the people, the architecture. Boston feels like home but I cant say the same about NYC. With the exception of clubs we have everything that NYC has to offer but on a more manageable scale. I can actually have a conversation with the average person in downtown Boston without wondering why I bother. I live in the heart of Boston, a minute walk away from the largest building in the city, yet I have a brownstone with a private entrance on a quiet one-way street. NYC cant offer that. |

 Pretty sad you have to go on other people's account to try and make it seem like there's some community  against me. You must have been pretty fucking mad.And why would I deny that I clean up after patients? Yes it is something I do (and not just old men, but old, middleage, & young women/men as well!), but to act like that is the limit of what my job entails or act like that encapsulates everything I do would be the same as suggesting the only thing carpenters do is build bird houses or the only thing a banker does is count money. We have to know in detail about every system and subsystem you can think of in the body and know how medicines interact at the molecular level and jesus I don't even know why I'm explaining these things to you. I have physically saved lives before. You have no idea what it feels like to do compressions on someone's chest and see those ECG waves tick back to life (which btw only happens like 5% of the time in true asystole). You have no idea what it feels like to do compressions on someone and watch them die in front of you or watch someone who reminds you of your grandparents re-lose their memory every 5 minutes. I am a public servant and at the end of the day I do something that actually matters and helps people. What do you do again? Bring niggas coffee? I know you denied that but you never actually stated what you do so  . You work in some "role" what sucking dicks? What the fuck do you do? Did you bump up from mall security cop to bank security cop? Make sure you got your inspection and registration updated on your Segway dude. But please stay on my dick with the pictures and what not. NYC is big and diverse enough that you can find anything you want if you look hard enough. But yes you can find quiet streets with brownstones even in Manhattan. Look up Gramercy Park. |

Yea I know, not arguing that. Quiet streets in NYC are few though. Gramercy Park is not what you would call the heart of NYC and its basically a neighborhood closed to outsiders. In Boston we have Back Bay and South End, entire neighborhoods of browstones that, compared to NYC at least, are quiet yet full of life. The most expensive street in Boston is Commonwealth Ave, which is a long street of just browstones, right in the middle of Back Bay (heart of Boston), with a park in the middle and surprisingly quiet yet with the main shopping street (Newbury) parallel to it two streets down. |

I've been to London many times but I wouldn't like to live there either. Food is terrible, prices exorbitant, too much kitsch and the startup scene is weak. I can work in any city in the world that has an internet connection; I've been to every major European city and every Western European country other than Ireland, Portugal and the Scandinavian countries, lived in Paris for a while and been to Shanghai and Beijing. I choose to live in Boston because I like it here more than any other place rather than out of necessity. |
