HPT and its effectiveness belong to everyone here, as well as me. read what you want. do what you want. post what you can. have the best life you can and i mean that sincerely -stop hating. We can't seem to organize halo pc matches? That's ok. There will be another chance for online gaming/ organized teams for people here. Otherwise just go back to reddit... i mean please? |

Obviously you do care since your response is so negative. I was asking an honest question, no trolling whatsoever. Do you make money from the number of threads you create? If so, just say that cuz that's what I want to know. However, if I kept creating threads where nobody responded, I would logically assume that these topics don't interest the people that browse this forum. This is a hpc community forum. If I owned this website, I would try to provide content that would help spur discussion about the game, not have a bunch of misc. threads that nobody seems to read. |

So there was a time where nobody aliased and PCRs were posted. If this is the best way to bring back competitve halo why didn't it last for more than a year. You say this is the only way to do it, yet the few times its be done, it didn't last long. Can you explain that please? (Not trolling so please respond without raging at me) |

a trolly answer would be that you personally didnt insist on the rule for competitive halo pc, in 2012, 2013, or 2014, much less in 2011. The real fact is the whole experience of HPT, halo pc and gaming is too complex to have much community and organized teams. Gaming itself is essentially transient and perhaps even a questionable use of time, for anyone. Yet here we are. Yet there are thousands or more of small or medium sized gaming teams. So why is there no organized competition or much community for HPT/halo pc? Is it because the players did not really want it?

You never answer any of my questions directly. It's actually really annoying because I am trying to understand what you are trying to achieve and why.
And a response to your troll post (it really isn't b/c you like to blame me for everything), is that I didn't play that much, if at all from 2011-2013 (like literally once or twice every 3-4 months). I only recently started playing in 2014 because Icon Jonny, and Mech were playing again and during that time I encouraged my team to not alias (which for the most part they didn't). But I can't control what the opposing team does (most of them aliased). Again you wouldn't know this because you don't play this game at all, but pretend you know the answers to everything.
So instead of admitting you have no idea what works for competitive halo, you make up some bullshit excuse that HPT, Halo and video games are too complex to have organized teams.
Is playing cards a waste of time? Is drinking at a bar a waste of time? Everything is a waste of time. The threads you create are a huge waste of time, yet you don't seem to question yourself every time you click the new thread button.

I honestly think if you posted your roster, and required no-alias PCRs showing the map to be posted for every win, it would make the difference. I think if you wanted to, you could eventually schedule an approximate match time for more people to show up and learn to have structured competition for halo pc. |
