I am wondering if there is a big difference in the percentage of people who listen online compared to on a radio.

Last year we had to listen online as we could not get any reception. I think we will do the same again this year.

Good old Winamp! :headbang:

Last year I had to go to Seattle before the end of the broadcast. I listened online from there and was lucky enough to hear my husband played at 11pm (7am in Hastings). It was great, because I was homesick and missing the hubby, so it was like I was home for about 3.5 minutes. B)

Living in Ashford up until last year we used to get a brilliant signal on 107.
But now have to make do online.

Shouldn't there be an option for both? I listen to the radio downstairs and in the car. Upstairs I listen to the Internet.

They're not in synch. The stream gets very behind, and then at some point catches up again briefly. (how the heck do they do that?) It's very dizzying going up and down the stairs with the two broadcasts! Almost better than beer.

Fuzzy, I have to get help from my hubby at the beginning of every HR broadcast. It's starting to get embarrassing!

Did you try downloading either winamp or windows media player? You might also have to reassign the file type (was it .pl or something like that?) to recognise the player.

Let me know if you'd like some guidance for this. I hereby officially volunteer Keith's time to help you attain HR-onlinednessocity. Don't try looking it up. I made it up. Sorry. ;)

Lily said "How long has that option read "for Lily"? I'm famous!!"

Okay Lily,

Maybe, just perhaps like. "Our" Steve is a secret gardener and it wasn't a direct reference to you at all. ;)

Picture it - the redoubtable Steve, toiling away, just to bring on and nurture that one special plant, the reluctant  Lily (eat yer heart out Alan Titchmarsh! The bloke's good at this).

Months go by without so much as a cotyledon daring to peep above the soil. Then, suddenly, the first green shoots! And in early May!!

Now. Where is that piece of wire that I normally use for such a task?

"Ah, found it!" *sticks wire in hole where the telescopic aerial used to be*

"That'll be the station then, Hastings Rock, 107fm"

Well, that's what I do, and it works!. It might work with Lily's too!

Here, endeth the lesson!

Ok. I was hoping to tune in via my laptop/internet this morning and oddly I can no longer find the link to "listen live". It used to be on the home page but since the introduction of the new Guitar School banner it seems to have fallen off

a little help??

Have you got it sorted matey?

I just looked on main site and it's there, the link, top right by the banner. You might have to upgrade to Wind Media Player 11, or one of the alternatives.

Not yet - my Macbook (so not very friendly towards Micro$oft browsers) is currently doing the cyber equivalent of scratching its head.... cant see a link there on my browser at all

PS We're waking up Crowhurst again today 1 - 4pm
