Maybe we should set a play date and invite everyone in advance. During Andy's locals show might be a fun time to get together in chat to compare notes.

I sort of felt that maybe we could come up with something better. Its there and it works and everybody is welcome to use it. It runs on the java platform and is based on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) HR Forum Chat room You don't have to register anything to use it.

All work and no play :(

All work and no play :( Hi again SS I too, technophobe man, had a wee bit of touble with it at first, keep trying, it's not hard and actually *way* easier to access than it seems. BTW - you probably need to download the newest Java applet, same as me to make it work :)

Really though, I think we need to organise a party in advance. I don't know how long Brian was in there by himself before I popped in, but if people go in and don't see anyone, they'll probably come right back out again.

On other forums with chatrooms there is usually somewhere on the main page that says (--users in chat) or something similar, so when you log on to the forum you can tell instantly that it's in use, without having to enter an empty room :blink: :blink:

Thats not to say it can't be done, it just takes a while to sort out. The new upgrade should prove to be a lot simpler to add things like that in.
