i wish it would be Lupin, but i don't think alot of people in the wizarding world would like that. so maybe another order member...Tonks perhaps? |

Heehee! Tonks! but she's kind of young, they think of her as inexperienced. |

I think there going to introduce a new character to the series! Or if I really have to think about it we saw in the Fifth book how much influence Umbridge had over the ministry maybe she might get the job. She had followers mind you! |

Well, maybe it'll be Umbridge but I think that JKR will bring a new character into the spotlight. And Dumbledore has a lot more backup now, so he could probably keep Umbridge out of office. |

I can't remember where I read it, (probably one of the forums I have seen over the past few weeks) but I'm sure someone put forward the name of Kingsley Shacklebolt. I think he would make a good Minister and things would certainly go better for the Order with him taking the post. |

I don't know about that because well he's a Auror and although thats great and all that doesn't really look that good. Thats like a cop to become a president! |

He has also worked at the Ministry for many years and knows a lot about how it is run. He also would not be so inclined to allow himself to be either decieved, or manipulated and would probably do a much better job of it than an actor would do as a president!! |

Catching the bad guys for years and having a few friends doesn't really hit me as becoming the next top dog. See it's politics if you think about it and Kingsley doesn't seem like the leader type. He's described as a low voiced man and a Minister must be strong voiced even if he's really not that powerful with Magic. But for some reason I keep thinking about Amos Diggory we haven't seen him in a while and when he was there he showed his leadership potential, in the forest scene remember? And now maybe he'll want to get his revenge on Lord Voldemort as the Minister? B) |

Who was it that said "Speak softly, and carry a big stick"? I think that was a politician (Speaking rhetotically of course). Cornelius Fudge had a strong voice, but he liked the sound of it too much. |

I think Kingsly would have a decent chance of becoming MoM, because he does have influence not to mention he'd have Dumbledore's support. But a new charactor also is a big possibility. |
