Hi Joe,

If you are refering to the article where a person had asked this of Mike -He said,
I have a question. Is nothing deep or extremely spiritual, or as you would put it, a bite of t-bone steak.

Nothing can be futher from the truth. If this is not a very spiritual question and is not the meat of Jesus word -I don't know what is.!!!!

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said. It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceedith out of the mouth of God.

Lk 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying. It is written. That man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD of God.

The person asked -which I am glad he did, because I learned to to see where this was written also.

Deut 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to HUNGER, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know: that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by EVERY WORD which proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord.

When I was going to the church down the street -After 3 years my spirit and flesh started to war against going there. I knew I wasn't growing and asked Jesus is this all there is?. Was knowing the spirit only to talk in unknowing tongues? I felt dead and thought the church also. I asked Jesus what to do. For 3 weeks I meditated on this and was told to leave and go!! I, not knowing yet, thought it meant to find another church!! Not yet converted and given the true spirit of god, -eyes and ears to hear, and knowing the truth yet -I left and went to the other church. It was here were Jesus called me out -as if he pulled me by my collar on the back of my neck -it was that strong!! and I started to search on the internet for anwers - It was here where God started to do a great work in me. I started to read and the scales were coming off my eyes- I was so amazed at what was happening, knowing the Holy Spirt himself, was doing this work. I read till 4:00 in the morning for over a week, I could hardley eat nor sleep.
My spirit was STARVING and didn't know it!!" Neither did thy fathers know"!!!
The word of God was going into my mouth very very sweet, but when they digested and were in my belly -became bitter!!

Rev 10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

Jesus said to me;
Jn 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you but ye cannot bear them now.

It was here during this process God showed me what he originally meant when he told me to leave and go.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

This became loud and clear to me - so I did, through tears!! Why tears you ask?
I have met alot of nice people who I was leaving -Just when I thought I was going to finally fit into the WORLD!!, and be a part of God's work there -He called me out again.

Exo 2:22b "I have been a stranger in a strang land." all my life!!!
Exo 18:3 b " I have been an alien in a strange land.

Act 7:6 And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years.

Jer5:19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherfore doeth the Lord our God all these things unto us: then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shalll ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

So this land I now live in, is not mine, nor ever was it mine. And it is not me living it.
How strange is this?!!!

Psa 137:4 How shall we sing the Lord's song in a strange land:?

Heb11:9 By FAITH he sojourned in the land of promise, as a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.

Gen 26:2-3 And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;

Gen 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.
Gal 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise

So going back to the original commandment of God here -to live by EVERY WORD, is not this the biggest commission that God has bestowed on us!!

The whole book eat from Gen. to Rev is his commandment. Even though this IS the LITTLE
book- it is a big book to sandra.!!

Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not WITH God: for WITH god all things are possible.

Does this mean only God's elect will have to experience and come into obedieance to EVERY WORD? of course not.

Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me EVERY knee shall bow, EVERY tongue shall swear.

Rom 14:11 For it is written, I live, saith the Lord, EVERY knee shall bow to me, and EVERY tongue shall confess to God.

Phi 2:10 That at the name of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth:

So ALL men of All ages will eat this book. It's the only way for God to be all in all.
There is no way around it for anyone. For if we think there is, we are yet deceived.
God's time is not measured with the clocks man made with mans hands.

Jn 11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not TWELVE hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

1cor 10:6,11 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Do we then say, we have to go through the plagues, God's wrath and the lake of fire also? Yes Yes Yes -All of it.

Phi 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Lk22:31-32 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you,
that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

The Seven "Last Plagues" Applied to the lives of God's Elect written by Mike, is a true eye opener for those who have not read it yet.

Rev 1;3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are witten therein: for the time is at hand.

Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Deut 8:3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy father know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but BY EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE LORD DOTH MAN LIVE.

And again;
Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but BY EVERY WORD that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

In His Love,
Sandra
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said,
The kingdom of God cometh not with observation; Neither shall they say, Lo here: or, lo there: for behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Lk17:20-21

Timothy, and fellowservants;
Your post, of our Lord's words in the scriptures, you pointed out, not only edified and blessed but also have given me great comfort today.

I got side track this morning, the fiery darts started flying and a war broke out in heaven, Captains rulers, princes, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong all day!!(1Pet.4:12-13)
I put on my armour, -I thought !! (which was my second mistake) and prayed and cryed out to God in my affliction, I finally told him, he has to show me or tell me (spiritually)!!. Even though he said, remember who it is that is doing this!! It wasn't until I came into my computer room where my bible studies are and pulled up the forum and saw your post -then God revealed, as yet again, I stood on the sand of the sea looking back. I had not put oil in my lamp! -A very foolish virgin!!
When are we to learn that we cannot go a whole day without our food.(Mat.4:4)!!! Nor fight Babylon and the Chaldeans with dull blades!!

Psa.119:49-50 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

Psa. 119:73-80 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments. They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word. I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight. Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts. Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies. Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

Isa. 40:1- Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins. the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain; And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness therof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God.

Heb.4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Rom.15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1Cor. 14:3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

1Thes.5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Hi Grahm and welcome to the forum,

I am sorry I did not acknowlege your post sooner and I have read it several times.
There is so much good food here, and in this forum.
That even one scripture alone, takes me on a journey for days on end and I cannot get back to the posts that I have read, as soon as I would like. And there are so many, for in one post alone there are many scriptures. Much Food!!

Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
