truly Christ is that bread from heaven Joh 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. i was just reading a little this morning after seeing that excellent letter on the IWWB site regarding numbers 9:6 and Gods provision for all http://iswasandwillbe.com/The_Lake_of_Fire...d_Testament.php and as i was encouraged to study on, i came across this verse Exo 12:30b ...for there was not a house, where there was not one dead. truly all are born in sin so in EVERY house the destruction of the son of perdition is essential, the carnal mind is enmity Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. i want to be single minded not double minded i want the mind of Christ in me to destroy the carnal mind in me which reminded me of one of my latest favourite verses Mat 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. Mat 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. CUT IT OFF! CAST IT FROM YOU! IT IS PROFITABLE FOR YOU!!!!! what seems like death to the carnal man sounds like life to the new creation 2Co 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: 2Co 2:16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? His name is the Word of God! in them that are saved, that's the new creation, second adam, Christ in me and in them that perish, that's the man of sin in me, son of perdition, sin in the flesh i am so impatient to be rid of false doctrine, i just want to be purified, till there is nothing left of the old man. i have need of patience (endurance of Christ) that after i have done the will of God Heb 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Heb 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Heb 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. Heb 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. i cannot easily get what i want to say into words this morning but God is being merciful to me a sinner and so i am trying to share what He gives me with any who might rejoice with me for look who says Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. peace and mercy to all the suffering servants this morning, Christ in us is sufficient for all things may His enemies be scattered even as His children are gathered together to Him in the same house... 2Ti 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: 1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. Lord please stand watch on the doorpost of my heart and slay any leaving or entering that are not well pleasing in your sight. f PS: what's that you say Lord? DUCK!!! (thank God i'm too slow) Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. the blood of the Lamb: 2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 2Jn 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 1Ti 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. the word of their testimony: Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos {my killing}, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. the unsearchable riches, so much more to learn, so much changing to be done faithful is He who calls you who also will do f Luk 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luk 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. Luk 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luk 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Act 3:23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. did you hear that carnal frank?, it would seem your days are numbered Act 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. please say on Lord only give me ears to hear and a heart to fulfill all your will Eze 11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. Eze 11:18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. Eze 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: Eze 11:20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Eze 11:21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD. Eze 11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. Eze 11:23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city. Eze 11:24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. Eze 11:25 Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me. |

Thanks for the post Frank. I, too, am in need of much patience. As the Lord lives, he gives me more day by day! (Mat 4:17) From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. I find it amazing that, once the Lord had been tempted (to me this is a lot like tempered, )and passed the test, he starts preaching the kingdom of God / heaven. The first word about the Kingdom is REPENT. Whoa.He sees us how we are, knows we won't listen because he made us deaf, but yet tells us to repent. There is a huge spiritual lesson in that. That lesson to me, among other things, is one of humility...submission. When we accept (submit) everything we are, everything we have been shaped into, and that we must be shaped into something different...something different than what we have always known, that is truly showing us the beast. Who among us can say we want to obey? Then, as his glorious light shines through the cloud, we begin to SEE. We begin to see that without that "marred in the hands of the potter" experience, we can not be KINGS and PRIESTS with him. We are told we will have a KINGDOM ..after all, that is what KINGS rule over, but we also will be priests! We will minister to and for the people...as well as, ourselves! Patience indeed. Most of the time, my flesh wants it to all be over with so that God can be all in all, lol. However, we must be tried and tested in the fire in order to be vessels of honor that can be used as tools in the hand of the potter. I, myself, hope to be a blow torch Lol, I am not even sure why I am typing this all out except that your post made me think on some of this again. Take care brother! YBITC, Steven |

Hi Steve and Thanks! sometimes i get so full to overflowing and though i sometimes question the wisdom in blurting it all out i find i just don't keep it in, may i grow up a little more into Him in all things. i just wished i lived in the USA so i could come on over and talk about the things of God till the cows come home or i get thrown out whichever happens first LOL! sometimes when the spirit moves and verse links with verse it's like lightning from the east chaining and linking till it looks like it will reach the west, then subsides only to return, truly Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. sometimes i think i over indulge in the new wine a little and need a little more sobriety but the Lord seems well pleased to open another verse, well i suppose in time i will bear a little more fruit of self control. plenty of growing to do here. that verse you shared opened as you shared it. the word for repent in Mat 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. is metanoeo and means "change mind" ie. from the carnal mind to the mind of Christ instead of thinking of repent in terms of "i must stop sinning" which would be like a dog saying "i must stop barking" we have a change of mind, a new mind for a new creature, the mind of Christ that loves God and delights to do His will instead of the carnal mind we all know a little too well. it's like where you said Who among us can say we want to obey? i knew so well what you meant but as i read that sentence on my lunch hour it was like "there is One in your midst" "One among you" "Christ in you" Steve He is in you and He delights to obey His Father and you know He will destroy your enemies without and within in His perfect way and time and i hope i will be there to rejoice with you Brother. f PS: Heb 10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. He takes away the first Steve and Frank that He may establish the second the second adam is the Lord from heaven |

that was so funny Steve after typing the above i went back to work to a bit of a trial i suspect the Lord wanted me to have a more realistic appraisal of my situation 1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin {the man of sin in the flesh seed of the serpent} is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God {Christ in us the new creation} doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. still some way to go, God is good we know who wins and it's good to have such brothers to walk with and talk with and break bread with f 1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. even as He is pure accordingly you will be complete, just as your Father in the heavens is complete |
