it dawned on me today first He overcomes the iniquity within the elect then through the elect He overcomes the iniquity outside 2Co 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. f 1Co 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. Rom 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the sons of God. |

one thing is it helps me keep things in perspective, there is always so much tendency and temptation to lose perspective. you know, the tendency to see the storm more than the storm master. this revelation (seeing it all within) encourages lowliness of mind and helps me not to get all carried away in the excitement, but rather reminds me that all the enemies of God are within me as well as "out there" in others, and that if i truly long to see God's enemies conquered in Christ, then i should not be a hypocrite seeing the enemy without and fail to see the enemy within. seeing the speck in my brothers eye and look a beam is in my own. that would be the blind pharisee, seeing no need to cleanse the inside of the cup. every evil i see outside is a type of the spiritual evil within, and only as i (yet not i) fight the good fight against His enemies within do i (yet not i) escape that damned hypocrisy that is a spot and a wrinkle, He (the Lord within) is cleansing me of all such and so it must be. only He who hinders will hinder until He is taken out of the way He takes away the first that He may establish the second perspective i say, do i expect God to avenge all evil and turn a blind eye to the evil within me?!?!? what kind of physician cures the symptom but not the disease? God is no hypocrite! He will visit just recompense on all evil, including the evil within me. therefore i am without excuse for the very evil i despise i find within myself forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us but if i judge myself i would not be judged, yet when i am judged i am chastened that i not be condemned with the world (my sinful body) it's just another great revelation in the knowledge of Him that where He is i may be also f |

okay! This is so good! I was thinking just yesterday....I think I even quoted it to someone else; "we tend to hate in others the very thing that we dispise in ourselves,"...and it's so true! This is a good thing to use to help us SEE the beast that is struggling to survive within us....what do you HATE in others? And when this internal iniquity is resolved (bit by bit)...you could look at this process as being fueled by "the POWER to become the sons of God," could you not? The YEARS I tried in vain to wash the outside of the cup!! oh my! how much WASTED energy I put into such an empty project! But, thank GOD, if He is willing, that will no longer be my duty! The flesh not only profits nothing......but is perishing as well, no sense wasting any more time with it! Thank GOD! I approach EVERY conflict now, in my life, with this attitude: focus on the INSIDE.... What is God saying to you about the conflict WITHIN? That is what I ask myself now. One question, Frank...if I may; you quoted: "only He who hinders will hinder until He is taken out of the way" and I understood this to mean...that when my man of sin is finally taken out of the way..."I" (first Adam) will no longer hinder.... but the "HE" in that verse is capitalized....a reference to deity? Hello Frank and Joyce. I would like to add something, if I may? I believe he who hinders would be he who the beast gets his power from. (Rev 13:2) And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. So, yes it is the man of sin, but the man of sin gets his power from the great dragon who is satan. (Rev 13:4) And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (Rev 12:9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. So, when satan is removed then sin will no longer have dominion over us because sins power is from the dragon. Also, please don't look at your walk as wasted time. As much as I understand what you mean, believe me I do, I also have come to understand via revelation from the Holy Spirit, that all that has happened to me and within me has been meant for good for me and it all has me right here where the Father wants me! Praise the Lord! How deep are His riches! Steven |

wow....this is FINALLY starting to make sense! Thanks Steven....so satan gives THE BEAST power... But God gives THE NEW CREATURE POWER... "But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." John 1:12 Just continuing along these lines, if I may... would this be the correct progression in the life of the believer: 1) hear the Word 2) be given FAITH from God to believe the Word 3) believe on Him 4) receive Him (if God gives the Spirit to you) 5) receive the power to become the sons of God 6) death 7) resurrection/ transformation? Help! Joyce
