I was reading Deedles post in "Thirteen years in Tarsus" and noticed the following verses in Acts: Act 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. Act 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied. It brought to mind this verse in John: Joh 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease. This got me to thinking of how easily we are decieved by our seemingly good works. We are so eager in that stage of our walk to want to claim God's rightesness as our own "and give not God the glory". This is all spoken of in Daniel chapter 5: Dan 5:1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand. (multiple of 10 completeness of the flesh) Dan 5:2 Belshazzar, while he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein. Dan 5:3 Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them. Dan 5:4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone. Dan 5:5 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaster of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Dan 5:9 Then was king Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his lords were astonished. Haven't we done many wonderful works in thy name? Look at what Daniel had to say: Dan 5:18 O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honor: Dan 5:19 And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down. Dan 5:20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: Dan 5:21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. Dan 5:22 And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; {Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.} Dan 5:23 But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: After this is revealed to Belshazzar look what happens: Dan 5:30 In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. 2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. 2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Just wanted to share of what I've been studying tonight maybe someone would like to add to it? |

Yes Jason, Blessed are your eyes,For they see. Notice this jason ,It is PART (earnesT)of the understanding.(fullness is a process) Your house is honorable!Blessed is YOUR house! Act 17:5 But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. Act 17:6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also; Act 17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus. Act 17:8 And they troubled the people and the rulers of the city, when they heard these things. Act 17:9 And when they had taken security of Jason, and of the other, they let them go. As you know (or rather KNOWN OF GOD)This is a process.OF SEEING OURSELVES AS A BEAST,(AS GOD<ONE TRUE GOD> HAS ALWAYS SEEN US) Daily SACRIFICE of KILLING THE BEAST (throUgh out the week,MOON, YEAR OF VENGENCE) THE DAY OF THE LORD THEN & ONLY THEN SHALL WE (LIVE) as the ANGEL OF THE PRESENCE (messenger of the covenant) I COME QUICKLY. AFTER WE LOOSE OUR LIFE (DEATH) WE GAIN THE REAL LIFE. AS HE (IS?ALIVE) So are WE IN THIS WORLD (DEATH) Notice what HAPPENS TO US (the BODY) DURING THIS PROCESS?? Dan 5:20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: WHO DID THIS? (the BODY OF CHRIST) WHO IS ITS HEAD? NOTICE THIS REVEALATION AFTERWARDS? Dan 5:21 And he (was/dead) driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts(4 living creators,(not until THEN/appointed time) and his dwelling was with the wild asses:(children/12 princes of ishmeal/persecution GEN 16:12) they fed him with grass(herbs) like oxen(living creator/imature state/cheribem), and his body was wet with the DEW of heaven;(WORD OF GOD) till he knew that the most high God(ONE TRUE GOD/LORD OF THE HOSTS) ruled in the kingdom of men,(body of FLESH) and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. (THE BODY OF CHRIST) IS NOT FLESH & BLOOD (it is the <EARNEST>/UNTIL SPIRIT OF PROMISE/UNTIL FULLNESS<PRIZE POSSESSION OF THE INHERIDENCE/Changing of garments/with fervent HEAT) Dan 4:28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. (Jason at his appointed time) Dan 4:29 At the end of twelve months (year of wrath/vengence is MINE/DAY of the LORD)he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. Dan 4:30 The king spoke,(man of sin) and said, Is not this great Babylon(harlot), that I have built (sorry GOD DID IT)for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty? Dan 4:31 While the word (of GOD)was in the king's mouth,(man of sin) there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. Dan 4:32 And they (body of christ)shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass(herbs) as oxen,(cheribum) and seven times shall pass over thee,(there are 7 GREAT PASSOVERS TO PUNISH US/humble US/Punish us 7 FOLD completly for our sins) until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. NOW what happen FIRST?(this is A IS WAS & WILL BE /APPOINTMENT) Dan 4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar:(who is he?) and he (was) driven from men, (GLORY TO GOD ALONE)and did eat grass as oxen, (new he was a cheribum)and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. (he is imature yet he is growning LIKE A Cheribum/FACE OF AN EAGLE & MAN & OX But WHERES THE LION OF JUDAH? he is not finished but BEGUN A GOOD WORK IN THIS BEAST Dan 4:34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honored him that liveth forever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: Dan 4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? Dan 4:36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honor and brightness returned unto me; and my counselors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Dan 4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. As you know this is just a process. But according to my HISTORY.This gentile .Never again glorified himself. But CAME TO HIMSELF. 1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (kingdom of MEN)a to z 1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth (man of GOD)take heed lest he fall.(like the MAN of sin) (Within us) 1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Only christ (within can BEAR IT) we cannot. HE IS THE WAY OF ESCAPE! BLESSED ARE YOUR EYES MY BROTHER! timothy Glory to GOD ALONE |
