The name Mathuselah means man of a dart. H4968 ξϊεΜωΡμη methûshelach meth-oo-sheh'-lakh From H4962 and H7973; man of a dart; Methushelach, an antediluvian patriarch: - Methuselah. After learning this, I remembered this verse... Joh 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. We are all Methuselah that dies on the very day the flood comes. We are the dart that pierces His side. We pierce His side and forthwith comes there out blood and water (spirit and the word). Methuselah does not live to be 1000 but 969. He does not complete his life in the flesh. One thousand is ten to the third power. (process of the flesh). After the flood man is given threescore and ten or seventy years. Which is seven tens (complete flesh). Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
