OK, this is the plan. I have around a 45 mins worth of material ready for final recording. The entire album is instrumental and completely on Synthesizer (a Roland SH-201 to be precise). For exam reasons this is a tad delayed, but the first cuts should be up on Saturday. They will just be rough basics, as it will all need layering added, but the ideas are all there. Runnong will be something like this: Album: Chichen-Itza... What?! Track 1. Chichen Itza (Around 10 Mins) Track 2. Why You Should Vote For My Party (Around 3 Mins) Track 3. Appel Saft Dreamline (Around 3 Mins) Track 4. Open/Close/Bugger (Around 3 Mins) Track 5. Chichen Itza II (Around 4 Mins) Track 6. Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun (Cover of Floyd About 5 Mins) Yes, it looks tedious, yes it looks like something John Lydon would call "Pretentious bullshit" and hey, some of it may well be. But I assure, as a Prog Rock fan, it isn't all like that. |
