Well, I was going to do one myself (though in a very different form to the following plan) and Con expressed an interest earlier. I think we should write seperately as three people (if Loz is in) about everything in a narrative, log form, but then compile the lot into one volume, a three-part look at one thing that builds not just on the concept of a travel guide or book about the country but works more as a social study, or something closer to a non-fiction novel.

I think it is important we don't know what each other writes, that we say what we actually think about both India and each other and to keep it naturalistic and un-edited. It should go through the money raising stage right through to the return by train to Stoke. I really think that this approach would make something new and fresh, an engaging read and more importantly a viable concept with litrtle input, as even 5 minutes a day of evey day involved would produce more than enough. It should only be compiled after we get home, and that we all agree before hand that no offence can be taken.

Thats just my thoughts, and to be fair Con called it before me, even if I did think of it at presumably the same time, sao what do we think?

I'm not going to yell at you...I don't take credit for all my work. I just put it under PA. I'm a team player, me.
I plan on taking the notes during the trip, maybe flesh it out a little during the train journey to Stoke, and write the book at home.
I will be recording quotes. :D

OK. I'm writing my intro now. Do you want to compile works both our pieces or produce your own?

I've managed to enter into yet another financial debate about how I'm gonna get £100 in a week.
I work better when I just throw myself into writing, so I'll wait till I have my notes before I start writing.

I have a "concrete" plan to test tomorrow. If you want AND IT WORKS I'll happily give anyone who wants a share a cut.

Leek has an animal market taht sells baby rabbits at about 50p per bunny, and as you would expect, there is never a shortage of them. Easter is coming and kids want rabbits, but oh bugger, Pet City sells them for 16 quid! In a credit crunch, people will look for viable alternatives. When I sell the things (after most likely saving them from the pie shop) for £8, I'm doing them a favour, and no-one in city knows about it! I can hold about 10 of them and the market is every 2 weeks. 10 times 8 is eighty, and two of them are 160! OK, you have to feed them, call that 20 off, and there is still advertising, so knock off another 10. Still, you have £135 per month for a bit, which ain't bad! And to prove it, look on Gumtree Stoke: Loads of people sell them for this price regularly!

Haha I was going to start writing one for the UCAS points anyway, so I'm in.

I'm sure this horrible thing is the Princess Di doll my nan gave me so I might be able to sell it for £50

:D Hooray!

Slight hiccup with rabbit plan. It ain't on till next saturday, so sadly, even though I can help you after, Con, this week is kind of iffy. That said, it should be OK after that, so there still ain't too much of a problem.

Dress up as a kid and offer Robin a massage?

Seriously, if I could help I would.

If I can manage the payments until the summer, I'm set. Because, if I work for my dad every day aside from Sunday, I can earn a hell of a lot. I'd get paid based on the work I do. And there's no upper limit.

According to pack there's £300s of payments before Summer and one £100 within about two weeks of starting them.

I get what you mean about the funds, though. I'm kind of lucky in that I'm pretty much guaranteed EMA, so thus have a steady source of reliable cash (plus I've just started selling stuff on eBay), whereas I suppose its a bit more dicey your end....

The payments can roll over so don't worry about it too much.

Actually, that is a fair point. Provided you didn't miss too many, or perhaps explianed that you could get the money at summer work, you should be OK.
