We had no tub for 11 years. My big kids got used to it when we moved easily (age 5-10). When the babies were born we did it in what they call a gigit, a large oval plastic bin used for laundry, carrying things and... baby baths. When they stould firmly Abba took them in and held them in the shower, soaped them up and washed them. Next step was Abba standing there and explaining but letting them do it by themselves. Later they were allowed in alone when dh was sure they could handle it. He did it because they were boys and he is more careful than me by far. |
