Low carb shakes?

Dh decided to go on a diet- before Pesach, yeah right :<!--emo&LOL:-->Posted Image<!--endemo-->
Anyway, he asked me if anyone knew of any low carb shakes (kosher). They can be either homemade or store bought.

Not sure how many carbs are in milk, but skim milk, instant coffee, some sweetener and a couple of ice cubes make a decent shake. You can make it thicker by using powdered milk and somewhat less water than recommended for reconstituting, or use evaporated skim milk or soy milk.

Vary flavors by substituting cocoa powder or flavoring extracts for the coffee.

milk is super carby!!! Even skim. I actually have more issues with skim than whole.

My mother makes a great low-carb frappucinno with soy milk and soy milk powder. I'll get her recipe if you'd like.
