Well, considering that I'm packing half my house, it's not going that bad. Books are all packed as well as many toys and decorations. This week I'm packing my fancy china and if Pesach comes before the move, I'll pack all the kitchen and leave only the pesach stuff.
I think it isn't such a bad idea to move during Pesach after all.

I don't see why not but would ask a shaila just in case.
Hol HaMoed is semi-Yom Tov, so I have a feeling that if you have a choice, you might not be allowed to move at that time.

B"H a good friend of ourse came to the rescue and was able to tack out order onto theirs that is being delivered.  I keep telling myself- everything for a reason!

Oh, I am so happy to hear that things are good again (or hopefully will be good soon, when the food is at your house), I was really worried.
Cleaning... I am denying it for the moment.... Posted Image

I pack half my household goods and we're not going anywhere! We have to stow away most of the contents of our kitchen cabinets and LR wall unit in order to make space for the pesachdik things. (Even the picture frames on top of the wall unit have to be put away b/c that's where we stash the matzah.) Then after Pesach we have to reverse the process. There's gotta be a better way, but, short of disowning the children and converting their closet to a Pesach pantry, I haven't figured out what that might be.

When I win the mega-millions lottery, I will build a house with not just a Pesach kitchen but an entire Pesach wing.

Half the computer room is finished. Now the other half, the great room and the kitchen.

Thursday I'm building a new pantry/breakfast counter. I bought some DYS shelving (33 x 77 x 110 cm) at IKEA and a table top (80 x 60 cm) from Home Center. All I have to do is cut two of the poles down to countertop height and then screw everything together. Yes, I'll need to add some extra hardware to make sure the countertop is secure, but that won't be too difficult as I have a handyman helping me (or should I say I'll be helping the handyman do what I want). A little paint, two stools and some backing for the pantry cabinet area and I'm finished.

B"N I'll take pictures along the way and when it's finished so I can post them.

Kitchen is turned over and we had a pesadik shabbos (besides the challah). Livingroom is almost done as is the dinningroom. i have 90 turkey meat balls, 70 beef meat balls, and sauce for more done. Also meat ball soup and zucchini soup are done and in the fridge waiting to be frozen. Chicken soup is up and will be done in like a half hour. Tomorrow I will put up the trays of chicken.

realgood- I am petrified... it keeps me moving. Want me to send some stuff over.

To be honest a lot of it I am doing cause though I know people will send over food for us when baby comes- tev prob. won't be able to eat any of it. I am packing things away for him so all dh has to do is heat his food up and Tev is taken care of. If it wasn't for Tev I would not be on top of things!
