Do you do it?

This question has become a hot topic on my BBC birthboard!

I've never done it and never thought to do it! Never thought it was an issue but i guess over there anything can be!

We don't do it in my family but all of the cousins in so cal do it - as did my bubby and zadah (z"l). They are all from the European side so maybe it's a European/Hungarian custom? My parents never did because my father thought it was weird. So that means I don't do it and think it's kind of weird! However, since they all do I just try to avert my lips slightly so it ends up more of a cheek kiss. But with my own kids, we do cheek kisses (although my little Asher keeps trying to do the lip kiss and he cracks me up when I move my mouth and he slobbers all over my face LOL ) For me and dh - lip kisses are for married people!

same here.

Occasionally he have an accidental 'bump' but I just don't notice them, kwim?

Feel too weired to do it on purpose. Like letting a stranger into my bedroom.

I don't think I ever thought about it! We kiss our son all the time (we say that he needs to get 1000 kisses a day), and the cheek is the usual spot, though the head, the forhead, the eyes, nose, ears, chest, tummy, feet, legs, hands, etc are also good spots. I guess lips would be along those lines too...

I kiss my kids on the lips! Didn't ever see it as a problem- as long as they're still small. After about 4 years old I probably wouldn't.
Besides, Zusha insists lip-kisses (as seen on my siggy with the baby and on a previous siggy where he was kissing me.)
