I am starting to have some reservations about Aviva going to preschool 2x a week (4 hrs each time) while I know it will be good for her since she is very sociable and I think she is getting a little bored hanging out with me all the time..... I feel like I am just ditching her. She is going to the Chabad preschool and it is supposed to be excellent but...I don't know maybe I have some separation anxiety? It seems like September is looming closer and closer. Lisa |

Just enjoy your break! Seriously, it's usually hte mommy who's not ready. 2x a week is very mild, and she shouldn't be overwhelmed. If it's possible, may be you should stay with her the first day to soothe hers and your nerves a bit. Then drop the guilt and enjoy your time! Do you have any reservations about the actual place? If you know it's good, then you can be relaxed. 4 hours is not a lot! |

She will be in the two year old class right? When I taught at the chabad program where I was thats who I had and the kids were so yummy. They all did much better than their parents! Personally, I CAN'T WAIT for sept when Zu starts cheder. Zu is plenty happy at home (though he loved cheder when he went to check it out) but I need the break so bad! I am ready to take some time from him. I love him but I need a rest! |

as of june 27th I will be kid free from 9am-2:45pm....until the baby comes at least! My son is 2 and 3 months, he gets all sad when he is left at home and his brothers go to school, he begs to pick them up, and I have to remove him forcefully from my sons classroom each morning, I know he'll love being with his brothers all day. Aviva will love it too, in a week or two from the start, you'll wish you had more free hours, and on the days she won't have school she will beg you to go. |

For years I have called Rosh Chodesh Elul the 1st day of vacation. Just pushing the last one out the door made me want to go back to bed. Separation anxiety passes at lightning speed. |
