How are you doing? How are you balancing things? Are the other kids (if there are others) handling it? If you are bfing how is it going? How big is the baby now? Any cute new milestones to share??

------

I am doing B"H better. I was way overdoing it last week and having some issues with my incision. It was also making me bleed a lot again. Incision is looking better though so I am happy. Also don't need my pain killers anymore to get around. Though I did think I was going to be split in half the other day after Zu kicked me! Balancing is also getting better though Zu is frustrating me with his obsession with the baby's milk. Tev finally realized she is staying. Mostly he is okay with it but sometimes he is a bit more crabby. Zu is frustrating. He loves his baby but at the same time he is acting out a lot more. Just trying to give them both lots of attention. Nursing is B"H! Still constantly leaving puddles of milk everywhere! I am a non-stop fauset. I just expressed some out the other day cause it was annoying me and she was sleeping soundly and filled a full dixie cup! We are on the elimination diet though cause she was getting mucousy diapers and super congested. We eliminated the top 8 for now. She sounds loads better and her diapers are getting back to normal. Not sure hoe big she is- will know in two weeks. She came home 7lbs 11oz and by her two week appointment was over 9lbs. She is almost out of 0-3. Our big milestone is she is starting to smile! Zu somehow seems to be the only one to get a full blown full face smile so far.

We're OK. Zusha is overenthusiastic. He just started showing some jealousy. Once my mom took Gedalya out in Zusha's old carriage so I could get some time alone with Zusha. When she came back, we were playing outside the house. When he saw that Gedalya is in HIS carriage, he threw a fit and scratched Gedalya's face. He was dripping blood, poor baby. :( Since then, Zusha wants to go in his carriage all the time, and it has to be in the "baby mode"- meaning facing the mother and lying flat. :)

I still feel clobbered down, although not as much. Sometimes a feeling of desperation would overwhelm me- like how can I manage? The floor needs to be washed, Zusha didn't eat for 6 hours cuz I had no time to notice. Dishes are a wreck...

But all in all, I get out every day for a walk with the kiddos, so we're managing...

We're B'H doing great. Gavriel is 7.5 weeks old and smiling :) He is bli ayin hara a great baby. Happy as long as he's clean, fed and not tired. Mommy on the other hand is very tired  G wakes up every 3 hours at night to eat and it's begining to take it's toll on me. We went to the doctor last week and he weighs 10lb 7 oz (was 7lb 14oz at birth) and has grown an inch and a half. The breastfeeding is goinng well B'H - not easy but we seem to be getting into some kind of routine, and it's not anywhere near as painfull anymore. When I'm not feeding him i'm pumping to try and stock up for his babysitter. I'm going back to work next Monday :( and he will be going to a babysitter. Not quite sure how I'll function on very little sleep, but we'll wait and see. And that's about it for now.

Yesterday, at 9 weeks and 2 days, Gedalya laughed!! That made me sooo happy. I was showing Zusha how to play with him "Round and round the garden.." (Anyone know it?) We were doing it to Gedalya together and he was laughing! Yummy!

Yay for the corn! ( I mean figuring it out.)
The game is-
"Round and round the garden goes the little bear." -you draw a circle on the baby's belly.
"1, 2, 3, 4," - walk your fingers from belly to chin, counting steps
"And tickle under there" -tickle chin.

corn starch is used on a TON of stuff. Corn Syrup is a kicker! Even the choc. we have in the house looks like it contains! I thought she reacted to the caffeen in the coke I drank in the hospital- nope. Have to get pesach candies, pop, and other stuff. Even one of the rice cakes we get has corn in it. The kid's cereal is corn flakes (only cereal tev can eat. Even my bc pill contains corn starch (finally figured out why she screamed bloody murder for five hours after I would nurse her the first time after I took it each night!). The reaction has been getting worse and worse so I am being super duper careful now that we figured it out. I am also allergic to corn but not like this!!! I just would get hives on my tush and it would mess up my tummy.

I hope I'm considered "new" enough to join in here.

Karapooz, I'm going to try that game as soon as Mimi wakes up. Are you able to to get out to a park or playground these days? Those have always been my lifesaver, you can let the older one run around while the younger one enjoys being outside. I'm just assuming that since you live in my part of the world, there must be a playground nearby. :)

Zuncompany, B"H you found out what's wrong, but oy, that's hard. Can you see the difference in Frei since you eliminated corn?

Socks, I also had to go back to work when my oldest dd was about 8 wks. What are you doing for childcare? Let us know how it's going.

We just started Mimi with rice cereal. She sort of liked it, in a messy sort of way. She also just learned to sit up in her Boppy. Her big sisters love toting her around, but because of ds's crazy long schedule, Mimi doesn't really know him. I'm not sure how to fix that one

we see a huge difference! She slept the last two nights instead of screaming for 5 hours!! B"H!!!!!!!! I got 8 hours and feel great!!! She is still broken out and her poops are a bit mucousy but I just got the corn free list and ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! I honestly want to know what I can eat. URG!!! I have a call into rubashkins to find out if I can even eat the meat! I hope its just corn though. I have the other top 8 eliminated but I saw no difference when I took them out. when she is all clear I will add those back in.

Mimi is doing so well! We must get together this summer. when do you guys come in?

8 hours? The most Mimi sleeps is 7! IYH we'll be in Philly either June 23 or 25. Camp starts on the 26th.
We should definitely get together this summer. :)

well it was 5 and 3 but I don't count the 20 mins to feed her cause I don't think I was really awake for it! lol!!! I still feel bad though cause just by cutting out my bc pill (which contains corn starch) all of a sudden she doesn't scream all night and sleeps!

The counselors are actually living over here this summer... wonder if any of them would want to babysit! Even if it was just to go to the grocery store man would that be nice. Right now the car doesn't fit all of us. We are looking into vans still.

Oh no, don't mention cars. BH we've outgrown our minivan, but what they charge for that 6th back seat is outrageous.
A couple of the counselors from last year are coming back this year, and they are sooooooo nice. My kids are like counting the minutes till camp starts.
