Zusha is still attacking Gedalya every chance he gets!! I can be nursing, and he'll be scratching his head (not like scratching ones head, but SCRATCHING his head!) or braiding his legs together.

Sometimes he attacks without an introduction, other times he starts out playing or cuddling and then leaves gashes all over the poor baby.

HOW DO I DEAL WITH THIS!?!?

Is it normal to last this long? 3 months already...

Grrr.

sounds like he is jealous of the attention. Can you grab a book for him when you nurse and read to him. Also maybe schedule some alone time and have someone watch the baby.

I try to go out with him alone when DH is home- be it right before bedtime or weekends.
Nursing is still a bit hard for me, and when Zusha is around, he climbs onto my lap together with Gedalya. I've tried to make nursing time into reading time, but he's too active for that.

But he also hugs, kisses him and says, "I love you."

Realgood- your son can't be as bad as mine, if he has enough access to the baby to be able to lie down on him. Unless I'm holding G.A., he's always in the playpen where Z doesn't have access, except to throw in 'presents.' He'd kill him within 3 minutes if I turned around.

When Tev was an infant I thought for sure the poor kid was never going to crawl, roll, etc... why? Cause I always had to keep him somewhere safe from Zu! Freida prob has the most mixed up schedule... as soon as the boys are down for the night we wake her up to play!

Have you tried using one of those things that go under baby's head so that it doesn't get flat?

we did with tev and found it totally useless. We found varying the position and good amounts of tummy time work wonders. If the boys were older than I would put her on the ground more during the day when they are up and around. But they aren't and its not necc. safe even if I am right there (like karapooz said... 30 seconds). Tev would sit on her in a heartbeat. Zu thinks he is cute when the few times she has been on the ground and he tried to grab her (when I went to grab the phone).

She is not complaining about getting woken up. She loves her nights with us alone. She has a great time playing, than a shower with mommy, and back to bed.

i know, I am a bad mommy.. i should say he tries too, he is pretty strong and is hard to get off of me when he comes on top of me / baby. it only started recently. someon told me that jealousy starts more when the baby starts socializing..like laughing and smiling. when yt was a newborn he couldn't have cared less abt it.

i am thinkin that i sholuld either let him hold babys hand while nrsing or give him something special when i nurse.

realgood- I noticed Zu trying to climb up more often too. We made a deal. While I am nursing he sits by us either holding her hand or whatnot. After when she is all done he is allowed to come on my lap and sit with her.

realgood- the wagging finger wasn't 4 u. It was for all the toddlers who think their baby siblings are born to be tortured!
