Gedalya just had them last week. He was shrieking his poor little lungs out!
I'll be giving him his shots more spread out than usual.
Zusha got sick EVERY time within a week of getting vaccinated. REALLY sick. And now that I haven't given him shots for almost a year, he hasn't gotten sick since. So I'm really hesitant to go back on schedule.

many ppl (especiall who stay at home w/ kids) push off ALL vaccinations till 1 or 2 yrs. And afterwards do them gradually.

IamVo, hugs!!!!

Interesting, Flowergirl. Is it something many ppl do? Are there guidelines? Or everyone does as they feel?
And why SAHM? What's that got to do?

I don't know many who do that all.

some sahms do cause their kids have less exposure to the outside world. thing is- dan works, maybe older sib goes to school. what about the park, museum, etc...

I've heard that there is a group of people who push off vaccines but I don't know any of them personally. Once there are older siblings who go to school, the baby has so much more exposure to illness even if the mother is a sahm (i know all about that this year!).

Vo- how is he doing now?

Last night when I picked him up he was fussy (time for more Tylenol!). He took a nap around 6:30 (as usual) but then kept sleeping. I finally woke him up around 8/8:30 knowing he was not really asleep for the night, and if I let him sleep, he'd stay asleep until we were ready for bed. Put him back down around 10:30, had his regular night...

And then he woke up this morning very fussy and warmer than usual. So I gave him more tylenol, he finally went back to sleep so I could get dressed and out the door. He slept for 30 minutes before I took him to the babysitter. When we got there, he was smiley and playful B"H, so either 1) he's on his way to being better, 2) the tylenol worked, or 3) he needed more sleep - or a combination of all three.

In any case B"H he seems better, thanks for asking :)

I am glad to hear that YT is doing better.

B'H My kids are ok after their shots. for 24 hrs they are not so much themselves but otherwise they are fine. i wouldnt push off..SAH or Working mom ( i don't see the diff) as i see w/ my kids the pain of needle is easier on them when they are little. they dont know the needle is coming and dont squirm around as much etc..
