she comes into the shower with me right before we go to sleep, I nurse her after, and she falls sleep cuddled with me. Friday she is usually sleeping so i take her in asleep and she usually sleeps right through it. |

usually before her brothers go to bed since she has a bath w/ them. she sits in her bath seat and they are in the tub. i wasn't planning to do this but with dh's nutty schedule i did it once out of necessity and since neither of the boys noticed anything different about their sister, i kept it up! |

How do you bathe her in a shower? Do you hold her all the time? isn't she very slippery? |

With us it's always bath-dinner-bed. The thing is we always follow exactly the same routine (except on shabbos). It worked wonders, both our kids slept 6-7 hours a night by the time they were two months. Sharon |

She is slippery. I hold her close to my body (now she holds on to me too) and soap her back and legs. rinse, than I turn her around very very carefully so her tummy is out and soap it up holding her back tight to me. Turn her back around (she loves turning in the water and splashing at the stream) and do her hair. She loves the water! She usually gets mad when I hand her over to my husband or put her wrapped in her blanket into her carseat depending on if I am available or not. Once they get to about 18/20 months they enjoy playing at our feet. The boys go in with dh and now Frei goes in with me. If Zu doesn't take a shower with dh in the morning than he gets one by himself (dh standing right there) before bed. Tev cause of the eczema can't take a bath/shower so often so he gets a shower twice a week and we wipe him down the other days with wash clothes. If we give him a bath more often his eczema gets totally out of control even with meds. |

Yeah, I heard that, but for a tiny baby, that would mean no bathing at all! Try it out. With Zusha, he spit up a lot. Even if I waited 1/2 hour. With Gedalya, I was afraid to bathe him after feeding, but he never spit up. He rarely does, altogether. I even take him swimming after nursing. He only spit up once in the pool. |

I did evening feed, bath and then bed. Didn't find it was a problem putting him in the bath quite soon after a feed. It quickly became part of the bedtime routine and he loved it. As Karapooz said, when they are really little, they feed so often that you would never have the opportunity to bath them if you avoided bath soon after a feeding, especially if they are 'cluster' feeding in the evening... |

we also always did dinner-bath-bed. Saul also has exzema so we keep a bath to 3 days a week (unless we go to the beach or the pool.) when we give it he gets it before bed. If my inlaws give it (which has come in very handy) they give it before his nap. i think for some kids it makes them easier to sleep- and for others it makes them ready to play- so it really depends on the child. |

We usually bath - last feeding and then bed. The bath usually wakes him up a little so I need to feed him after so he gets sleepy again :) |
