So this morning, after coming in for a good morning snuggle very early, Boo let me sleep. She often does this. She comes in, says good morning, and then goes to play and dh gives her some cereal before he leaves for work so I can get an extra half hour of sleep or so. Usually she needs something so she comes to get me and I get up (generally after another little snuggle).

This morning though, she left me alone until I woke up on my own. I did not open my eyes until... 12:25!!! (Yes, you read that right.) Yikes!!! Nothing woke me up this morning.

Oh my gosh, she was too quiet for too long!

I went into the living room. Apparently last night last night when I was making my nutralizing solution I forgot to put away my costco sized box of baking powder.

Boo and poured out the entire thing onto her little table and was playing in it like sand. It was EVERYWHERE! She is was covered!!!! Even her face was crusted over with the stuff. (She was also happily chowing down on an entire box of sandwich cookies dh had forgotten to put out of her reach last night.)

She was happy as a clam!

she then looks up at me. Smiles, and says in the cutest voice ever "Good morning meema. Can we buy me more baking powder?"

I figured the mess was already made, and she was having a blast, so I just let her continue to play (I did take away the cookies though).

I should be angry I am sure, but I can't stop laughing. This is seriously the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. No serious damage done, and it was technically our fault for leaving the stuff out.

I am HIGHLY amused.

When they are that quiet, you KNOW there's trouble on the other end!

I remember a certain period of quiet followed by a room full of fluff out tissues :ha

Sometimes you have to go with it!

At least you can laugh about it. But that was why she let you sleep. Who needs to ask for anything when everything is within reach and you are having lots of fun???
Extra quiet usually means something not so wonderful is happening in the next room.
Although recently my son can be very quiet playing with his cars.
