Yes, he has been caught doing just that and has been asked to stop. Doesn't mean he won't deny vociferously having anything to do with it. WHY oh WHY are teenagers so BRAINDAMAGED? One hole is an accident, FOUR is just stupidity.

my 7 yr old is starting on this already ............ Should I start digging trenches??? :hide

My husband has informed me that boys between the ages of 14-18 turn stupid. There's no explanation for it except puberty.

Your dh may be more accurate than he knows. Did I mention that I just read a book about teens and brain development called "Yes, Your Teen is Crazy"? Basic premise is that next time you think to yourself "are all teens brain damaged" the answer is YES. It has to do with brain growth, neuron pruning and the fact that connectionss between areas of the brain - such as btwn. those that control emotion and those that control logic - aren't developed yet. Scary but relieving at the same time.

Somehow knowing why it happens doesn't comfort me.

same here...

AND HE ISN'T A TEEN YET!!!!!!! :tantrum
