awww - he's expressing his creative side :D

I think my dd takes the prize for coloring endeavors. At the age of 2 she used markers (thankfully they were washable) to color the white part of our tri-colored Toy Fox Terrier. Heh heh - the little dog was so accomodating too! I came into the playroom and there was dd, just coloring away on a napping pooch -_-

THAT is adorable, though I'm sure you were quite upset at the time!

ZC, that is hysterical! I guess she figured that he wasn't "done" yet, and has some blank spaces that she must finish up.

Deena, aside from the wasted $, that was pretty cute! How about having him help in the cleanup?

I sympathise. My son has been very creative in the past on our wooden bathroom floor with a tube of toothpaste and some talc. Oh boy - did he make a mess!!!
Also he has coloured on one of our radiators and drawn on the computer monitor which we were able to clean...

I remember one time, when my brother was little, about 3 or 4, my parents came home from a chasuna and he had colored with permanent markers all over the wall upstairs. My mother was rather upset. He looked at my mother with these very innocent eyes and said "but, I'm only a kid, and kids don't know anything!". How could you be angry after that!! I think those marks were on the wall for many many many more years after that until my parents got a paint job!!

Another story (with same kid). We were living in Israel, and one day he was driving me crazy. I was babysitting, didn't know what to do. I made the mistake of putting him in the bathroom. It was a tiny room, with only a toilet in it, nothing else. Boy, was I wrong!! He pulled out the blue disc from the toilet and "colored" with it all over the bathroom walls!! Let's just say, the walls were blue until we moved and they got painted. THat was the last time I locked anyone in the hbathroom for a timeout!

I forgot I posted this, It was way past his bedtime so He was not helping with cleanup. I had to take him to the pedi today so when he was asked if he brushes his teeth, I made him tell him what he did. He then disapeared under the exam table.

worst my kids have done so far...hummm, well, I have murals drawn with a variety of things, crayon (at least the cleaning lady or I can get it off with lots of elbow grease and ajax!) pencil- colored and reg. graphite, clay from projects, metal objects by scrapeing them on the wall and pen...I think the bathrooms and the kitchen are the only rooms in the house without decorated walls!
