Her father is the camp's director (here), so she's here with the girls and her husband is there with one of the boys. He comes back here for most of the Shabbosim and sometimes during the week. It's maybe a 1- 1 1/2 hour drive. |

We bought it in Suit Central which I think is owned by the hat box, but it is in Cedarhurst. |

My husband just bought a borsolino in January---it was not 300.00 I think It was 200.00 maybe a bit less. In bencraft in BP. He still has the hat he bought when we got engaged, its still in great shape (he only wears it when we go to his parents or yeshivish weddings as respect for his father....) |

Does he put it in the box for Purim and Simchas Torah? Those are hat killers. |

my husband wears his hat that is already destroyed for Purim and Simchas Torah. But he does let the kids wear it sometimes. |

Indeed. But to the point of shooting yourself in the foot? Just to say "I can pick up my mess when I want and not when you want me to?" Insanity! |

I think it is because they don't know neither we or them know how to separate from each other gracefully. They have to grow up. The in between stage is one of the reasons I am pro dorm for nearly all boys. That Rebbe and counselor just do not share the emotional baggage with them that we do. They have nothing to prove, unless of course they get the idea that we NEED them in dorm. |

LOL..I call that the "Don't get mad, get GLAD" way of cleaning up. This is especially effective around Pesach time, since I refuse to clean up their rooms anymore. |
