YK, no bus? Not even for school? How do you manage?

Do any schools have buses?

No buses - it costs money here!!!! Government doesn't fund anything, and it is a huge pain!

Oh actually they do - they pay for the Catholic school kids to be bussed to our neighbourhood to school while we shlep out of the neighbourhood. Wouldn't it have been nice if TTC was in the school behind 120?

BTW, YK - dunno if you tried calling me back but my phone is all messed up. I can make outgoing calls but no incoming calls are coming through :(.

Being a working mom, I always sprang for the bus if I had to.

I wouldn't put my four year old on a public bus to go to school all by his lonesome! And - you can't hire a school bus for one boy - the kids in the school come from all over Toronto - not just one neighbourhood.

I give Hallie yogurt for camp, water, and a snack. Ice packs included, of course. Her camp is not peanut free like her school is, but a close friend is allergic, so in case they want to sit together, I leave the peanuts at home.
