I have to get my son school uniform for September. My rant is the fact that the boys uniform doesn't match and when worn looks like some scruff has thought up the outfit. It consists of light blue shirt, navy blue v-neck jumper, red and navy tie and red and blue kapul (with school emblem on it) and black or grey trousers (what happened to navy trousers????) The girl's uniform makes more sense and matches. They have the same apart from the kapul and their skirts or pinafores are navy. I have a mind to complain to the school. Why can't i buy my son navy trousers? It will actually make more sense and won't clash with the rest of the uniform. It is really annoying me because i hate clothes that clash...and the boy's uniform just looks messed up. Who on earth thought up the uniform and why make it different to the girl's??? |

grey is ok, black I wouldn't do. Enjoy talking to them. My girls have a hunter green skirt - it is really ugly. |

tee hee....reminds me of the year my brothers had uniforms....the pants were cut in such a way that every other day one of them came home with a split in the crotch. Really ugly too! Its what happens when men choose the uniforms. Sorry you have to deal with it. |

I agree. Gray sounds nice. My daughter also has a hunter green skirt. I actually like it. It's way better than the gray woolen pleated skirt I had to wear. |

We were grey pleated skirts also. Once I was waiting for the bus and this lady complimented me on it and ask where i got it! I told one of my teachers who said she must have thought it was all the rage seeing so many girls wearing them! :rofl |

we had grey and navy stitch down pleated, but before that, we had these really ugly ones with a yolk and three buttons on it! There was also a Grey with plaid, the plaid was navy and maroon, the worst was when girls wore that with a grey striped shirt. Um, did you ever realize that plaid and stripe dont go??? We had a large assortment of third pieces (sweaters, vests, sweatshirts) and now there are even more options!!!! White shirts needed a third piece. I dont remember all the third piece rules, could be at one pt (before my time) during certain months you HAD to wear a third piece, but now my little sis told me that there are SO MANY more rules that they just made! |

i guess hearing all these uniform combos, i was lucky...navy or gray medium pleated stitched down skirts with light blue or white button down blouses and a black optional school sweatshirt...white, cream, black or navy tights...and we got to buy any blouse we wanted- only the skirts had to be from the uniform company. |

EWWW!! I had totally forgotten about those! Glad we didn't have to wear them too long. B) I still can't get used to the shirts that they're allowed to wear tucked-out. I feel like handing out a k'nas! |

lol. My oldest dd is going to have that school's plaid next year. The hunter green shirts I could do without. The navy or white are okay though. I don't understand why they gave that age in the school such an odd color combination. Hunter green and black? Yech. At least the black with the stripey or blue oxford is nicer. |
