That's what I heard too. Also about meat - I heard that meat represents din-judgment, maybe that's why it shouldn't be eaten. (And dough represents rachamim-mercy, which is the idea of kreplach - to cover the judgment with mercy.) |

why are u planning out 2 big meals? can the 1st one be dairy- does it have to be with challah? I know all about the seudah hamafseket is the 1st meal anything other than lunch? |

looks like challah and soup for the first meal second challah (maybe homemade, but since i have only made the soup, prob not) soup some sort of chicken cutlet or real chicken have yet to be decided (hmm, less than 24 hours to decide) I have cutlets in the freezer and would need 2.5 chickens to be able to serve for the breaking the fast meal too, so ithink it will be cutlets sweet lukshen kugel (went to the supermarket twice and forgot to get the lukshen) doughless potato knish jello |
