Molly is her BFF! She wants to write to her and invite her over but doesn't quite get that JWN doesn't work that way. :)

And, dd too... every pix is her when she was a baby!

The scary thing is my almost-8 yr old is already kicking me off the computer! Webkinz can entertain her for hours. She also manages to figure out the tech stuff faster than I do. We keep a pretty tight contol on things - but I wonder how she figured out the IPOD first. I tell her stories about the "olden" days before cell phones and PCs and email.

I haven't even been posting as much since ds wants to play Reader Rabbit and other computer games and writing programs. I was seriously thinking of getting a plain computer (without internet access for him) and save this one for dh and myself! That's spoiling, isn't it?

Webkinz entertains ME for hours. She is too little to play so I had to do everything, for hours to earn her money. I "forgot" her password a while ago so I do something else!

webkinz are all the rage. They look like your average stuffed animal, but then they have a code attached to their collar which you register with at: www.webkinz.com. THEN the fun begins. Your toy becomes "real" and it is your job to feed it, clothe it, house it, play with it, etc. In order to do this, you need money. To get money, you play arcade games that give you money. Also there are jobs that are more "work related", games shows, trivia, just a million things to do.

My oldest at 19 months came over to the computer one day and used the mouse all by himself clicking very carefully the eggs in a sesame street game. He learned how to minimize, maximize within a couple of months and turn on Uncle Moishy. Now he is 5 and he copied Al hamichya letter by letter in Davka Writer (hebrew word processor) with nekudos (vowels)!

I remember buying it for my daughter. My kids loved that and Jumpstart.
