List your favorite kosher products, and where you get them - esp. if they aren't the old salt/MSG/trans fat combos featured in the kosher aisle.

Some of mine are:

Nando's Cocunut Curry Sauce (Nando's restaurant)
Derlea Sundried Tomatoes (No Frills)
President's Choice pineapple and grape juices (No Frills)
Sardo Kalamata Olives (No Frills)
Bartenura Balsamic Vinegar (No Frills)
Toppits frozen herb cubes (Kosher Club)
President's Choice trans-fat free, peanut-free granola bars, for kids' lunches (No Frills)
No-name fat-free sour cream, for guiltless decadence (No Frills)
DynaSea fake seafood (Kosher Club)
Sable & Rosenfeld Thai marinade (Loblaws)
Catelli Smart and Barilla Plus pastas (No Frills just got the Catelli, Dominion or Costco for Barilla Plus)
Sabra dips (No Frills, Kosher Club)

thanks for starting this thread! Especially the part with no MSG/transfat part.. that's always my issue with Kosher food.. or any food really.

Jason's bread crumbs is my favorite.. I try and prepare only wholefood besides that. I will make my own breadcrumbs if I can't get Jason's.

Blue Diamond rice crackers with almonds...Safeway and everywhere I think.
Not healthy but really good for a special treat:
Robin hood Nanaimo bars Safeway
Almond Roca cookie bar mix Costco (a real naughty selection!)

I wish I lived in Canada. Whenever I am in Canada I buy a ton of Presidents Choice stuff at Supervalue. They have a huge selection of gourmet kosher sauces/mustards that we can't get here and for a decent price. love the Nandos stuff too.

Oh, I forgot: President's Choice Decadent Chocolate Chips cookies!! WAY better than other brands, by far.

Any Americans have stuff to add? I'm going to the States in Feb. and am always willing to take good stuff home.

The PC Decadent Chocolate Chips are the best plain dark chocolate I've found in Toronto - way too good to waste on cookies! I eat them right out of the bag.

American stuff - Trader Joes spices and seasonings. We like the 21 Seasoning Salute, and the Poultry and Barbeque/Grill spice mixes.

I don't have one on hand now so I don't know. If you go to No Frills or Fortino's give a quick look!

I love the Imagine brand soups - I used to get them relatively cheaply in the States, and don't care to pay what they charge here. But they were my quick and healthy lunch for a long time.

Re: Chocolate chips - no nut allergy warning on the package. For info, call 1-888-495-5111, or contact them via the website: www.presidentschoice.ca
A couple of years ago I talked to their nutritionists about some products re cross-contamination, and had a good experience. They were helpful and honest. You probably need to quote the UPC: 6038365205 (300g bag). They also do a 1kg bag, so you might need to double-check about x-contamination at the packaging stage. FYI it has a Circle K hechsher.

When I saw the title of this thread, my first thought was, "We're going to discuss wine? Yay!"
Hmmmm, favorite kosher foods?
Right now my focus is on weightwatcher-friendly stuff, and I've become addicted to Fuze drinks.
Alexia gourmet french fries are yum. In fact, the reason I'm sitting by the computer is so I don't go into the kitchen where ds has just baked up a batch of their rosemary, garlic, and olive oil flavor.

Do you just heat them?

Sometimes I just heat and eat, but if I want something more substantial, I would pour over quinoa or rice. You could use them as a base for a soup, adding fresh veggies, but I think the "creamy" soups are fine on their own. The broths I would use for making rice, etc.
