I have a big jug of honey that looks all carmelized. Is there a way to fix it or do I have to throw it out?

Honey is actually the 1 and only food in the world that doesn't go bad. You can heat it up in the microwave or stick it in a pot full of hot water and let it get warm. Next time you play Trivial Pursuit you'll know the answer!

Can you take out a portion and heat that? Hot water works well, but it takes time depending on the amount of honey.

I would nuke it. Or hot water and change the water frequently bc of the size of the jar.

i left the jug (it's 2.27 kilo & half full) on a window sill and it's slowly coming back to itself. maybe in a week it will be unsolidified.
