We're here, and hoping that some people we gave open invitations to will take us up on the offer! So far, sedarim are just us and my in-laws, which is probably best, because of the late hour, and health issues. I think my in-laws will be most comfortable without lots of guests. But, it feels funny to make both sedarim and have no guests at all (my in-laws don't count. we are so used to them travelling to stay with us when we lived in the States, that the few meals they spend with us now that we live in the same city just isn't the same!). Maybe dh will find someone in shul who needs somewhere for seder, and we'll get our surprise guest! We have one mostly-confirmed guest - weather and late-nights permitting - for the first days lunches. An old friend of dh who has recently moved here, who is able to come to us now that it isn't snowing! Yay! Other than that, we are limited to eating at home, not just because of Pesach (we don't davka not eat out, and we will eat with dh's cousin, but we are more careful about eating out on Pesach than year-round) but I can't predict when I'm going to be able to walk anywhere for a meal. So, it's a nice opportunity to tell people that they can come any time they want, with no notice necessary, because we'll be home anyway! And mostly, they are singles, so they don't care about formality, just hot food and company! And, if I get through the first half of yom tov fairly unscathed, I may be able to do some more firm invites for the second half. |

We are home, but we always split meals on the first days with my SIL who lives here in town. They host Sedarim, we have everyone over for lunch. The rest of the meals are here - the last days, my folks and sister stay over. Must go make the fruit soup! |

We'll be home for the sedarim and first days! This is our married Pesach, so it's our first time doing this all by ourselves. We will have our parents for the sedarim. I just found out yesterday that we are hosting a college student for the first days! We are going away for the end days. |

I cleaned, kashered slept at home and had two of the 6 meals at my parents the first days, chol hamoed I cooked and baked and brought said cooking and baking to my parents and IL's, but was at the IL's the second days...Likely this will be the last year we go away on peasach. |
