I have to no time for a busy shabbos meal. Can anyone help with a quick and easy one I can make tonight. I already have the soup, I am going to put up the fish soon. Challah dough is rising. I found a sweet potato kugel in the freezer, What else should I make??? |

really easy one pot meal- sprinkle spices on chicken (I used paprika, pepper, and garlic powder) with skin on and bone in, broil 10 mins each side. Take chicken (not drippings) out of the pan, put in your rice and saute some veggies and mix. Add in correct amount of water for rice, put chicken back on top. cover and bake. My kids loved it when I made this. Its filling too. I serve the rice in a bowl and the chicken on a reg. platter. |

Take a chicken, parts or whole, put potatoes on the bottom of the pan, sweet potatoes, zucchini, onion, carrots, whatever you like, chicken on top. Make a mixture of oil, teriyaki sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, parsley, and maybe salt and pepper. Brush it all over everything. Cook covered at 450 for 20 minutes and 90 minutes at 350. |

I know it's too late, but if anyone ever needs ideas: Shabbat in a Pot is great. Rice, veggies and chicken all cooked together. |
