Yesterday the engine light went on in dh's car so he opened the hood to check if the oil level was low and found...

A CHUNK OF BREAD!

Most likely, the guy doing the oil change a while back was eating his lunch on the job. He probably couldn't figure out where he lost his lunch...

Also, would the fact that the chametz was under the hood of a car and mixed up with oils, gas, etc... make it inedible to humans and thus not a concern?

B) I just love the detective work of some of this halacha - so many details and interesting shailot!

I would file a complaint with the car dealership or wherever you had the oil change. That's really dangerous.
