G-d willing the search function will be up and running soon. The small boards have it working already. We apparently are considered a LARGE LARGE board (anything over 50k is considered large but we have a LOT more than that) so it is taking longer to catalogue the posts and get it running. There are a few posts with stuff about this. The truth is, I cook everything I would in my kitchen on it. Seriously, down to the challah I cook 100% of Shabbos on there. Heck, I even made deli rolls the other week on it! They were SO good. I do veggies, meat, pizza, breads, and anything else I can imagine. What kind of recipes would you like I can post away for ya! |

I make the usual, burgers, hot dogs, and my favorite, Hawaiian chicken shish kabob. Cut up chicken to nugget size 1 can pineapple chunks 1 onion 1 pepper 1 zucchini stack them up on sticks but put the pineapple in between each other item. the juices spread evenly then add soy or teriyaki sauce. All done! Just cook until chicken is done. maybe 10 minutes For dessert... split open a ripe banana, add chocolate chips. Let banana turn black from BBQ. delicious. |

We really like the Montreal Steak Spice on our boneless chicken (either breasts or thighs--which are much juicer). The one I use is President's Choice brand. |

sara (or anyone else) I'm looking for more vegetarian meal ideas. We don't eat a lot of meat during the week (budget reasons) and I would love to use the barbq more. Also, i'm looking for shabbos recipes for side dishes etc. Basically anything :) |

this week not much cause I can't take the heat outside so just veggies covered with oil, salt, and pepper. Also some potatoes (foil covering and on the top rack, turn every once in a while) for the potato salad. |

I barbeque the chicken for Shabbos. It's dh's treat for the summer b/c I don't bbq except for the summer. For the bone-in chicken, I just throw it on the grill. For boneless chicken breasts, I make a marinade of: equal parts vinegar and oil, sliced or minced fresh garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and whatever spices I'm in the mood of adding. Let chicken marinate in the mixture for a few hours. Grill. The oil keeps the chicken from drying out. |
