Reuven threw a drumstick today and broke a window in my kitchen. I have no CLUE what prompted the drumstick to be thrown, and I also had no idea how to deal with it. I put him in timeout for 5 minutes and k=let Simcha go play next door without Ru. We were going to go to the library, but I canceled the trip. He was SSSOOO mad at me, I had to put him back in timeout till dh came home some 10-15 minutes later. Problem was, even in timeout he was attempting to be destructive with e/t in the room. I couyld use some pointers!! |

He is definitely going through major changes with the new baby. All my kids are. I don't have a clue why he threw it, though. He definitely understood why he was being punished though. |
