So, dd is finally having her birthday party next week, iy"H (2 months late!) and is inviting 6 girls ages 9-10.
We are making hamentashen, and having a dolls tea party.
She would like to do a craft, and thought of a butterfly theme, but I think it would be good to do something Purim related. I'm wondering about a butterfly mask.
Any ideas how to do that with minimal materials, preferably dollar store stuff?
TIA

why not just cut masks in the proper shape out of construction paper or heavy paper, then let the kids color with markers. You can glue on a popsicle stick (so they can hold it up to their face like opera glasses) or use a piece of elastic to hold it on. If you find some stickers, or glitter glue, then so much more the better. Feathers look cool on masks too.

You could also make simple crowns with stickers, markers and construction paper and they could be Queen Esther crowns. Just gut strips out of the paper and staple them together once they are decorated.
