My upstairs is done, primarily because I am a zealot about not allowing food out of the kitchen. Checked the kids drawers, etc. and did a major vacuum/swiff/mop job.

Today did under the couch and in the couch. I will have to go over it again but since I am so nutty about crumbs (otherwise we get bugs) it's not a very big deal. We also have very little furniture so it doesn't take all that much looking. Dining room the same -- only thing in there are folding tables and a wood floor. LOL.

Starting cabinets this weekend; have begun to eat our way through the freezer\pantry. Amazing what turns up in the freezer. Yikes. Someone please tell me why I bought pineapple ices? Noone in my family eats pineapple... Freezer is always an archeological expedition. the fridge I hate doing...but have already started. Yuk.

I have a freezer in my basement which is EASY to clean... the only things that go in it are packaged meat and packaged milchiks. No chumatz ever in there honestly. I have liners on the shelves that are changed out each year for pesach and its a quick wipe down. I make sure we use everything up before we stock for pesach. So, right now it is basically bare bones. I don't sell it and just let dh know when I need something. He goes around the back to the laundry room door and gets what I need. We close off and sell the other room in the basement but the freezer is in the laundry room which we don't sell and had a door directly going into it. A little nuts but honestly, it saves me a HUGE headache!!

I'd like a place for ANY spare freezer...that's not my living room. Seriously. I'm currently thinking of getting one that's the height of the table, just so if necessary I can throw a tablecloth over it and put a nice plant on top when we have guests!

When we lived in apartments I DID keep it in my livingroom. It was nuts but worth it.
