The rov said no timers turning off and on, or only off?

I don't know how much our plata costs to run. I know gas is much cheaper than electricity.

I didn't say my rav was against timers or has issues with them ;) I personally do.

I have an electric stove personally.. the one with the coils and it can't be left on over night. It also can't be left unmonitored, so if I cook anything, I have to babysit it. I've had pots over boil, a flame ignite and catch fire on a coil! SO.. no.. I will not leave a coil on overnight.

I've got gas stove and electric oven. I won't leave the stove on, but put the oven on Sabbath mode and leave it on for the 72 hours. I've got a double range so I can leave on just the smaller dairy oven. Once the temperature is reached, it doesn't take all that much energy to maintain it.
