I want to make it though! It just doesn't seem right otherwise. |

We're making: Meat: Turkey (we have a huge rotisserie for it) Pareve: Mashed Potatoes (my bro is in charge of these - it's a tradition ;) ) Crock pot cranberry sauce Sweet potatoes in an orange juice, maple syrup, and toasted pecan sauce. Challah rolls (I make a huge batch of challah dough, let rise in bowl, punch down, arrange three little balls of dough in each muffin tin, let rise again, then brush with honey and egg before baking - wallah, super yummy yeast rolls) Brussel Sprouts Green Beans Pumpkin Pie Cherry Pie Chocolate cookies Home made all fruit sorbet |

Hee hee! I was going to ask for the recipe, too - I'd totally forgotten about them! I'm guessing they are the same as the oatmeal cookie recipe I make with applesauce. I've been looking for wheat-free recipes for a friend and hoped I'd found another! |

When you are married to someone who never heard of Thanksgiving and live in a place where they don't exactly swoon over America, you are kind of limited in celebration. But we always have cranberry salad and turkey deli meat for Shabbos after Thanksgiving. This year, candied sweet potatoes or something else with sweet potato too. Dh doesn't keep track, so doesn't know why I'm making it. ;) |

Barbie- do you have kosher by design short on time? If so, the pumpkin bisque is really good and easy to make. If not, let me know and I will give it to you. I use my reg. stuffing recipe to be honest and just use challah bread in it. I have never made a special recipe that calls for challah. I love my recipe (made in the crockpot). do you want it? |
