Out for lunch, PG, and taking a salad.
Friday night:
Might make own challah - we'll see what surprises today brings.
Chicken soup - really should make time to do this today, as tomorrow night is expected to be freezing cold.
Roast chicken - probably in a sweet/sour sauce
Roast zucchini, mushrooms, onions and peppers
Green beans
Roast pots and sweet pots.
Dessert from freezer, probably!

LOL... UTMJ- THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I needed a laugh.

As of right now nothing at all. We are going hungry. We are trying to get the finances for the trip settled and the 401k people are changing the rules every time we provide the documentation THEY demanded. MORE MORE MORE. They are like the palestinians!

Bureaucracy, nothing like it. How frustrating it must be. That sort of stuff just makes me climb walls.

We are having a very non-creative Shabbos.

Gefilte fish
chicken soup with noodles
honey-mustard chicken
potato kugelettes
purple cabbage salad
birthday cake (baby will be a year old on Shabbos!)

Shabbos morning meal: cholent and kishke

Afternoon meal: more gefilte fish, egg salad, cold chicken, cabbage salad, litchis and birthday cake.

I hope no one starves.

For nosh: two kinds of incredibly good bittersweet chocolate.

baked chicken for the males over 1
turkey for Freida
beef for me and if the boys want some. I will just sear it and than bake till its med. rare (I eat the same thing every day every meal basically cause of the TED)
caramelized onions to put on top of whatever meat you have
broiled zucchini (the kids love it this way)
noodles for the kids

I think I will put up a pareve cheesecake if I have a crust in the house.
quinoa cookies
sugar cookies

lunch will be the same as dinner.

Oh, and if dh can pick up another bag of potatoes potato soup. The kids LOVE IT!

For Mo he will be having potato soup and zucchini

My menu changed, too :( DS2 is sick, so we won't be out for shabbos lunch. And, I'll have less time today to cook, what with needing to get him to the doctor.
So, I'm buying challah, and taking kugels and dessert from the emergency supplies in the freezer. The rest will be minimalist - chicken and potatoes and veggies tonight, cholent and kugel and salad tomorrow lunch, leftovers/salad for seuda shlishit for the kids and I.

Aah - I surprised myself, and the challahs are rising, the cholent is cooking, and the noodles for shabbat lunch are done. Noodles cooked for tonight's kugel, but waiting to bake challahs before I can finish the kugel (and cook chicken and potatoes). Still need to peel potatoes for tonight, and make veggies - probably just frozen!
Chicken soup is cooking away, but needs to be cooled and have the bones taken out, then cook matza balls.
Oh, and I leave to collect kids from school in 40 mins, and get back with just less than 2 hrs till shabbos. I think it will be hectic, but do-able if the kids co-operate with their chores.
I did take a bought potato kugel from the freezer for tomorrow, and will defrost some deli meat, too.
