What are you feeding your family today?
Seder doesn't start here till 8:30pm, so I need to feed the kids lunch and supper.
Any ideas?

My oven is fleishigs, so if it's milchigs for lunch it needs to be cooked on the stovetop, but I'd prefer pareve because I'm trying to avoid unpacking the milchig stuff, and I think the only pot I have for pesach is a frying pan!

I put up a veal stew in the crockpot to have at around 3-4 pm.

If dh gets done with everything else that he has to finish by chatzos, I could send him to the supermarket for more supplies (we finished the two packages of potato chips already!)
I have some deli meat - what else could I serve with it? I'm wondering if baked potatoes would be too weird.
AFM - I have leftover chicken, squash etc I can eat, but it's not enough for everyone, and I'm pretty limited when it comes to KLP, so this food is mine (and baby's)!
I'm thinking of cooking a gefilte fish roll for lunch, and there's a little bit of potato salad left over to go with it.
If I had more seder food, I could just feed them that earlier, but if I give them some of it now, they are bound to still be awake by shulchan orech and there won't be enough!
It's one of those days where if it wasn't Pesach it would be "make your own sandwiches". Too much cooking when I can only stand at the counter or stove for 10 mins at a time (too hard to reach without squashing my belly!).

I made chicken yesterday to feed whoever is hungry, and there is chicken soup for tonight, but the kids will have it for lunch

I gave them fried eggs (sunny side up) with leftover potato salad, cucumber and baby carrots. They had fruit for dessert.
Still not sure about tonight. Maybe the gefilte fish log I just cooked, with some baked potatoes (depending on what else I need the oven for later).
I ate half a small can of salmon, which helped a lot (as did the chocolate!), and will eat the chicken later on. Although I don't really feel hungry, I know that keeping the calories and fluids coming regularly is really important in avoiding the contractions, which is the aim of the next couple of days!
DH ate well at the siyum this morning, and will fend for himself the rest of the day (ie, doesn't matter what I cook for the kids, he'll pick whatever suits him).
